Job Description:

We are actively expanding our teams and seeking individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment, excel at multitasking, and are dedicated to providing exceptional customer care for customers placing certain types of print and digital advertising.

As a full-service media sales and support company, we serve some of North America's largest media companies. We are also open seven days a week, which gives you an opportunity to take on shifts around your busy schedule. We foster a supportive team atmosphere and offer opportunities for professional growth.

Training for this opportunity is being conducted in our office for approximately 60-90 days. Following the onsite training, there could be an opportunity to move to a hybrid schedule that includes both remote and in-office days.

As a member of our team, you will be responsible for responding to incoming calls and emails, processing orders for certain types of print and digital advertising, including legal and obituary notices. Ideally, we are looking for someone who is patient, empathetic, and communicative to ensure all forms of advertising are accurate, complete, and processed in accordance with various deadlines.

Responsibilities include:

Handle incoming calls and emails

Assist with processing advertising and notices,

Proofread all work and reply to customers in a timely fashion

Identify and assess customers' needs to achieve satisfaction

Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication

Adhere to various guidelines and workflow processes

Provide a great customer experience by addressing all of the customer's needs in a courteous and friendly manner

Become a subject matter expert (SME) on all things print and digital

Desirable Skills:

Previous customer support experience or experience as a customer care/customer service representative

Ability to meet and exceed productivity requirements and deadlines

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $14.75 - $15.50 per hour

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer care and accuracy while placing and releasing death notices, legal notices, and immigration ads;
• Accept inbound calls, and process email and fax order requests from customers in addition to assisting customers with the self-transact site;
• Assist in the preparation of advertising composition, proofing, and placement in accordance with prescribed advertising standards, all applicable laws, and within deadlines
• Learn and become proficient on the Client’s advertising order system(s)
• Accomplishes all tasks as appropriately assigned or requested.

• Experience in a call center environment or in the newspaper industry is preferred

We are hiring sales professionals who will be responsible for selling digital and print advertising campaigns via phone and email. Ideal candidates must have desire to meet revenue goals and have outstanding phone etiquette.

​The Outbound Specialist will be primarily responsible for outbound sales, new business and renewal sales. This position will manage the full advertising sales life cycle.

Additional responsibilities include:

-Conducts needs assessment interviews with clients and prospects to develop customer- driven solutions

-Assess advertiser's needs to prepare proposals for advertising solutions

-Become proficient in client systems including lead generation tools and Salesforce

-Proficiency in client market demographics and research, including competitive media, as it applies to the advertiser or a specific marketing campaign.



Qualifications:

-Self-motivated outbound sales professional with a proven track record of strong closing skills

-Ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients via phone and email

-Fluent in the art of cold calling, prospecting and lead generation

-Advertising Sales experience is a plus

-Well-developed time management, organizational and follow-through skills

-Proficiency with research tools including social media sites, and lead generation tools

This position is FT- Monday through Friday
