Five years ago, I took a leap of faith and started Windy Stitches. What began as a creative outlet grew into something so much bigger because of all of you.
Today, I have some bittersweet news to share. I've made the decision to sell Windy Stitches.
This wasn't an easy decision. Over the past few years, life has changed in the best ways, and my family and other interests are asking for more of my time and attention than I can realistically give while continuing to serve this business the way it deserves. After a lot of thought and prayer, I realized it was time to close this chapter.
As emotional as this decision is, my heart is overwhelmingly full of gratitude.
To every person who trusted me with a custom order, shared my posts, recommended my business to a friend, stopped by my booth at an event, cheered me on, or simply believed in me: THANK YOU!!! You allowed me to turn a passion into something meaningful. Your encouragement, kindness, and support over the last five years have meant more to me than I could ever put into words.
Windy Stitches has introduced me to so many incredible people and has given me memories I'll carry with me forever. I will always be grateful for this community and the relationships that came from this little business.
I'm also excited to share that Windy Stitches has been sold to Tyler Hess, owner of 77TH Designs! Many of you may already know Tyler and the quality work he does. He'll soon be expanding his offerings to include embroidery, and I truly hope you'll continue supporting him just as you've supported me. I know the business is in great hands, and I can't wait to see where he takes it.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for allowing me to be a small part of your celebrations, businesses, teams, gifts, and special moments over the last five years. Every order meant something to me because it came from someone who chose to support a small business and, in turn, supported my family.
I will never forget that.
With all my gratitude,
Leah ❤️
