We lost a dear friend, co-worker, creative, collaborator and force of good last week. Mike Bregel was one-of-a-kind. Our team is devastated. A huge thank you to everyone who attended our recent event for Michael Frederick Bregel, added joy, showed support, enjoyed the artwork, donated money, purchased shirts, played Wizards & Relics, ate homemade cookies (thanks, Mary Bregel's mom), embraced your inner Wizard and generally provided so much positive energy! It was magical. We all love you so much, Mike, Mary, and Nyla!

If you haven't already put it on your calendar, there's another fundraiser for Mike coming up this Saturday at Goat Ridge Brewing Co. and organized by Brady Lindquist and friends.

So much to be grateful for this year! We have a fun, hard-working, talented team that's "all in" and makes loving your work pretty dang easy!

Our fearless creative leader, Luke Geiger, was missing from the party but with us in spirit (note the complexly beautiful process poster that Wyatt won rolling dice for a present.)

This week our Redstar team gathered one last time at the place that we've called home for five years. Workup is a social company that was founded by Redstar in 2015. This coworking and event space on the MinnWest Technology Campus provided us with a way to serve our community and pursue passion projects such as our Startup programming for entrepreneurs.

Workup was just one of the many creative adventures Redstar has undertaken in the last 29+ years and it will not be our last. For the foreseeable future, we'll continue serving our Redstar marketing clients from home offices as we plan for the new adventures ahead.

Today we had a send-off party for Abby Gronli. She's been a redstar team member for four years and we were so lucky to have her! Abby is bravely stepping into her next chapter which includes growing the business she started last year called Kenwood Design​.

Abby shared with me recently that this business has given her a whole new understanding of what it means to love your work.
