Mar-Val! The store and staff of yes! They open a new register right away if there is a lot be. They have shown me what I ask for instead of pointing. Greeted with enthusiasm and a smile! Voted best sandwich for all of Glenn County! Ask for a donation for a non-profit event? They say yes! Ask for snacks do a meeting? They say yes. (I also believe the manager sometimes pays out of his own pocket if the store is at donation budget limits and it’s a worthy cause). Help a rotating group of non-profits by donating food and space on Thursdays to help them. (I cannot remember all the non profits but I think it has included Lions, VIPS and the Chamber to name a few. They have also donated to the Glenn County Business Association).

Why is this important to spell out? Because they are small but mighty. They cannot offer volume pricing like Walmart but they do make up for it in friendliness, customer service and giving back to our community!

When you have a chance to shop
there and return the support, please do so! Their meat and veggies are some of the best around. They carry several local products.
