Hi, a local business client of mine is looking to do 🌟 paid focus groups 🌟 for homeowners in Wilmette who have purchased flooring in the past 3 years.

This is a great eay to support a local business! 🫶🏼

Details:
• Focus groups will be in downtown Wilmette at 9:30 am on Thursday September 18 and/or Tuesday September 23 and/or Wednesday October 1.

• The groups will last for 90 minutes.

• Must live in Wilmette and be a homeowner.

• Must have purchased flooring in the last 3 years (wood flooring, carpet, area rugs, vinyl, or refinished wood floors)

• You will be asked questions about your home decor, style, and home-related interests.

For perspective: Local business always want to know how to best communicate with their customers. This client wants to talk to residents so they can fine-tune their communication with residents.

Space is limited. I will share payment and other details if you are interested and meet the criteria.

🌟Yesterday I had the pleasure of moderating a TEDxWilmette Salon with TEDxWilmette 2023 Speaker Michele Weldon Michele is a long-time journalist and writer, with a long list of awards, including 1st place from Illinois Women’s Press Association for her TEDxWilmette Talk: Truth Is A Dare! 👏👏 (Link below.)

I was so pleasantly surprised to hear her optimism about the future of journalism!!!!

She said we entering a new paradigm of journalism: The behemoth newspapers no longer dominate, but many smaller publications are emerging with a new generation of journalists who have renewed zeal to find and share the truth. She also sees new funding paradigms emerging to support these journalists.
