Most brands don’t need another month of tweaking.

They need to launch.

In this Shopify Happy Hour clip, Zac Curhan from TruWild shares one piece of advice for newer founders:

Get it halfway there and execute.

You usually figure the rest out while building.

05/30/2026

You can build a product for yourself.

Doesn’t mean customers want it.

Zac Curhan from TruWild talked about getting customer feedback before building:

→ Benefits
→ Flavors
→ Format

Most brands guess.

The market usually tells you pretty quickly if you guessed wrong.

05/27/2026

A single sales email usually isn’t enough.

So when TruWild started landing wholesale accounts, they kept the process simple:

→ Call the store
→ Send samples
→ Follow up after they try the product

No hard sell.

Just real conversations and consistency.

Most brands get lost in spam folders or go after retailers too soon.

What happens to your business if your main sales channel breaks tomorrow?

One algorithm change. One policy update. One platform shift.

It happens more than people expect.

The brands that weather it best aren't caught off guard because they're not dependent on a single channel.

🛒 Marketplaces
📱 Social commerce
🏬 Retail partnerships
🌐 Additional online platforms

More channels means more stability and more ways to reach customers wherever they are.

After reviewing hundreds of Shopify stores, the same issues keep showing up.

And almost none of them are traffic problems.

The real culprits are usually inside the store:

⚠️ Product pages that don't actually sell
⚠️ Messaging that could belong to anyone
⚠️ Offers that confuse instead of convert
⚠️ No system to bring customers back

More traffic into a broken store just leaks marketing dollars.

Fix what's inside first, and the traffic you already have starts working harder.

Unpopular opinion: most Shopify brands are tracking the wrong things.

Pageviews. Sessions. Impressions.

None of that explains why revenue isn't growing.

Four numbers tell most of the story:

📊 Conversion rate
📦 Average order value
💰 Customer acquisition cost
🔁 Repeat purchase rate

If those are healthy, the store is healthy. Full stop.

Can you describe the “Why” behind the buy? 🔍

If you can't, your strategy is just a collection of tactics.

Most brands try to scale piece by piece. 🧩

The elite ones scale with one lead domino.

Master the "Why" and the "How" takes care of itself:

Better ads.
Better pages.
Better emails. 📈

Founders think: More ads = More growth. 📈

The reality: More ads = Faster leaks. 💸

Smart brands fix the foundation first:
Conversion → Retention → Acquisition

Scale the system, not the struggle. 🚀

Lowering your prices to win customers is usually a race to the bottom.

The brands with the strongest margins do the opposite.

They charge more, and customers don't hesitate.

How? They make the value obvious before the price ever becomes an issue.

✨ Sharp positioning
✨ Product storytelling that actually lands
✨ Trust signals throughout the store

Price becomes less important when customers clearly understand what they're getting.
