Building out Agents that handle all my content has been a great learning experience.

- Its better to have a pipeline structure so each agent has a specific task in the pipeline
- Harness matter for content quality
- Build a brain so the agents have context about the busienss
- Build Brand DNA to give the agent the full context about the brand your are working with.
- Eeach type of content needs its own workflow and stages
- Sometimes you don't need full agents for a workflow but rather LLM calls to decide on things deterministicly

The AI Traffic Heist: A Proven Methodology to Recover Your Rankings and Revenue from Google AI Overviews

If you’ve noticed a sudden, unexplained drop in your organic traffic from Google, you are not alone.

A fundamental shift is underway in the world of search, and it is silently siphoning clicks and customers away from businesses that are unprepared.

The culprit? Google’s AI Overviews.

This new feature, designed to provide instant answers at the top of the search results, is fundamentally changing user behavior.

Instead of clicking on your website, users are getting their answers directly from Google’s AI, effectively cutting you out of the equation.

For many businesses, this has resulted in a 20-40% loss in traffic

On key commercial terms, a devastating blow to their bottom line.

Traditional SEO tactics, while still important, are no longer sufficient to combat this new reality. A new, more sophisticated approach is required.

By providing an instant answer, AI Overviews reduce the user’s need to click through to any of the underlying websites. This means even if your site is a source for the AI Overview, you may not receive the traffic.

Users are quickly being trained to expect instant answers. This shift in behavior means that the traditional “ten blue links” are becoming less relevant, and the competition for visibility is now concentrated at the very top of the page

Initially focused on informational queries, AI Overviews are now appearing for a wide range of commercial and transactional keywords, directly impacting businesses at the most critical stages of the customer journey.

Our AI Overview Recovery Methodology:

The first step is to understand the extent of the problem and identify the most critical areas for intervention.

Comprehensive Keyword Analysis: We use tools like Ahrefs to identify every keyword in your vertical that is currently triggering an AI Overview. This gives us a complete picture of the threat landscape.

Traffic Loss Correlation: We then cross-reference this data with your website’s keyword rankings and traffic data from Google Search Console.

This allows us to pinpoint the exact pages and keywords that have lost traffic since the rollout of AI Overviews.

Prioritization Matrix: Based on this analysis, we create a prioritization matrix, identifying the pages that have the highest potential for traffic recovery. We focus on high-value, commercial keywords where recovery will have the most significant impact on your bottom line.

90% of SEOs are scaling backwards.

They chase individual page links like it's 2025.

Meanwhile, their competitors are building domain authority and crushing them with half the effort.

Here's what most people get wrong:

They obsess over getting links to ONE page.

Outreach to 100 websites
Beg for a single backlink
Hope that page ranks

Then they repeat this for every. single. page.

It's exhausting. And it doesn't scale.

Build your domain authority first.

When your DA is strong:
→ Every new page you publish starts with built-in power
→ You rank faster with less effort
→ Internal linking actually moves the needle

I've seen sites with DA 60+ rank new pages in days.

While low-DA sites grind for months trying to rank the same content.

Every page should be treated as an asset, NOT an isolated project.

If you’re using AI or building pages at scale, here’s how to keep your collection page content 100% accurate (even across thousands of SKUs).

A simple workflow that connects Firecrawl + product data + AI

1️⃣ Map your keywords

Cluster by intent (transactional, commercial) and match to page types (collections, brands, subcategories).

2️⃣ Create pages

Manually or programmatically. Keep consistent naming, handles, and SEO metafields.

Turn keywords into slugs before doing this, that way you can also plan internal links without actually having the pages ready.

3️⃣ Add products

Use smart collections or manual curation. Make sure the product set truly fits the search intent.

4️⃣ Scrape product data
Use to scrape product data, you can use N8N and connect with Airtable or a Google Sheet.

Pull data for each collection:
→ product name
→ brand
→ price
→ features
→ use case
→ description

Store it as JSON

5️⃣ Enrich with context

Tag products by use case or buyer profile (e.g., “small apartments,” “luxury cedar saunas,” “under $1K”).

You can also map out product taxonomy and categories before 1-4 with AI tools for faster and more accurate data placement in collections.

6️⃣ Plan internal links

Map out anchors + target URLs (brand hubs, sibling collections, top products).

50-70 exact match anchors and 50-30 secondary keywords as partial match anchors.

7️⃣ Generate AI-grounded content

Prompt example:
“Write a collection intro using this JSON data. Mention brands, use cases, and price ranges accurately.”

If you have a "Brand Engine" built out that becomes a key component to keep consistent tone etc.

8️⃣ Audit & refresh

Re-scrape periodically to catch product or price changes. Auto-sync new data → content refresh.

Accurate, brand-aligned collection descriptions that scale much better than generic collection copy.

Google will come after you if you're link building for eCommerce

Here's why:

You're building links to category pages and product pages only.

Zero links to your homepage.

Google sees that as a massive red flag.

In a natural link profile, your homepage should have the most backlinks on your site.

By far.

When your category pages suddenly have more links than your homepage?

You've created an unnatural pattern that raises risk flags.

Here's our rule at Nordica:

For every 1 link to a category page → build 1-2 links to your homepage.

This keeps your link profile balanced and natural-looking.

We've built 10,000+ high-quality links for eCommerce brands using this approach.

Zero penalties.

Because we build links the way real brands naturally earn them.

SEO agencies outsource link building and ignore this ratio completely.

We handle everything in-house with one goal:

Protect your site while driving revenue.
