My weekend has come to an end at Flow Gallery. I met so many wonderful people and enjoyed talking with everyone who came in. I did not take enough pictures of the art as it was leaving with its new owners but did remember to capture this moment!
Thank you to everybody who came in to see my layered paper paintings and hear about my process. And especially, thanks to Flow Gallery and Palmetto Bluff for inviting me and hosting!

Today is the day! I am here at Flow Gallery in Palmetto Bluff, Bluffton SC at the opening of my pop-up showing my new collection “Coastal Reveries”. My work is displayed in their beautiful courtyard on the banks of the May River and inside where it is nice and cool. I’m here today until 3 and tomorrow 12-4. If you’re in the area, stop in and say hi!

I’m a wee bit excited about this fun event next week, June 12 and 13. I will be the featured artist at a solo pop-up event at Flow Gallery in Palmetto Bluff, in Bluffton SC. I have been preparing for this event for months and have a new collection to share: Coastal Reveries. This collection is my latest series of coastal Carolina shorebirds and will be shown at this lovely low country gallery located on the banks of the May River in southeastern South Carolina. If you’re nearby Bluffton, stop in and say hi!

Some new Headshots for you today… in gray, pink, blue, white and brown. These are layered paper paintings with all handmade and marbled papers on 10x10 wood panels. Each is framed in a gorgeous handmade custom cherry frame.

This heron was perched among the dunes at the north end of Wrightsville Beach several years back. Walking along with a friend, he noticed it and ran off with his camera to stalk him. Thanks Stan Washlesky for the photo!

Bluebird Party. Layered paper collage, comprised entirely of torn, cut and layered handmade and marbled papers. It’ll get a maple frame and be hanging at GalleryCitrine in time for 4th Friday tomorrow night.
