Often I am asked how I decided upon my business name, Marsh and Maritime. It’s pretty simple- it tells a story about me! My favorite coastal escape is Bald Head Island. Have you ever seen the sunset from this little bridge overlooking the marsh? There isn’t a prettier sight (ask any BHI bride). Off the water, you are surrounded by the maritime forest. The towering trees draped in Spanish moss remind me of my sweet but short-lived home in Savannah.

When creating your brand identity, you must stay true to yourself and what makes you unique. The name Marsh and Maritime pays tribute to my personality, my location, and the fact that in the beginning, I built my book of business working solely with clients in the marine industry. Now, I am lucky to work with a variety of companies on the NC coast!
