⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ If you haven't already visited my friend Ann's "petite" bistro in Hubbard, GO! Her homemade soups are amazing. So are the baked goodies. And the coffee, tea, sandwiches, well...pretty much everything is delicious. She also does catering, and I got the most delicious to-go charcuterie boxes for an event awhile back that everyone loved! 🥰

National Small Business Day is today, and I want to say thank you! Thank you for everyone’s endless support and our loyal customers who continually show up & support small businesses. I am incredibly fortunate to have turned my dreams of opening Le Petit into a reality, and I couldn’t have done it without our loving community. Thank you!

PSA for small or large businesses: If you have a "Contact Us" form or general email address listed on your website, please have someone monitor it and respond in a timely manner. It's so frustrating as a potential customer to use it then not hear back from anyone. If you are too busy, don't need the business, or don't want to bother responding, then just remove the form. Easy. :)

Just wanted to share some more amazing woman-owned businesses: Ambient Sky, Event Cosmetics & PDXStylingServices. I decided it was time for some new headshots for my businesses and was dreading it. I've tried to be low-maintenance since COVID...so what to wear? how to cover the bags under my eyes? I don't even blowdry my hair anymore!

Cristina patiently advised me with her pro opinions on outfits/accessories, Katherine & Rockett at Event Cosmetics got me prepped & Amanda at Ambient Sky documented it as we dodged rain. It's been awhile since last posting here (2021!), but I have been busy. One thing we have learned to focus on since March 2020 is how to support each other. This includes supporting many of our friends and family that also have small businesses.
