Been out to Gaugler Angus a few times now… this dude is definitely a favorite. Extremely good feet, sons are easy doing with good muscle shape and expression. Females have beautiful udders, his dam and grandam are exceptional… when you can see a bulls progeny, dam, and grandam, all at one ranch, it’s worth taking note!

J66 has earned his reputation in the breeding pasture producing outstanding daughters the old fashioned way. His daughters in production are grass efficient females made to last with excellent teats and udder. As a 5-year-old, he stands on ideal feet and legs. His dam (7 years) and grandam (15 years) are still in production.

Update: collected over 300 units of semen on his first collection.

I really like the females I have seen from Grid Iron... they have plenty of milk and very nice udder structure.

A bull is only as good as the daughters he leaves in the herd....
HA Grid Iron J894 (TEX Playbook x SAV Final Answer) is leaving some incredible females in the HT herd! They are beautiful uddered, moderately framed, and easy-fleshing. The right kind we are trying to build! Semen is available, and just a phone call or text message away!

Everyone knows I'm a sucker for a blaze-faced Simmental, and this is one of the best out there! 🤩

Nichols Carlene SMH131 is a beautiful 2020 model purebred simmental that is raising a set of twin heifers this year. She ranks in the top 3% for WW and YW along with ADG, $GN, HP, Milk, MWW, STAY, MW and CW all in the top 20% of the breed.

I am pleased to introduce Duck Creek Simmental Ranch in Dickinson, ND. They have a wonderful set of Red Simmentals and Sim/Angus that are loaded with performance. Look for a heifer sale this fall and bull sale from them in the spring of 2027.

The ranch has truly turned into a proving ground for cattle genetics to compare actual real-world performance with what the "paper" on the cattle say they can do. This pair will be one to watch this summer... 4189 was born on the ranch, raised and developed, PAP tested, bred, calved, and rasing a little beauty of a heifer calf!

Heterosis and crossbreeding is still one of the most powerful and proven things we can utilize in the industry, and it’s free. There is plenty of good in all breeds of cattle if you keep your eyes open... This South Devon bull is one of them!

Gold Dust caught our eye when he was just 10 months old when we were evaluting bulls for their 2025 sale, and he has continued to impress! He is perfect footed, big topped and moves very well. He has all the pieces to be a herd improver. We really like his conformation, herd sire presence, and once again, the foot quality on this bull is something that is desperatly needed in the cattle industry.
