THE COST OF CHEAPER....
Banner Barricade Re installation: Louis Vuitton Rodeo Drive, California
There are times that Clients decide on cost vs. experience.
In this case study, Applied Advertising submitted a cost to install a large LV barricade in the heart of Beverly Hills, CA. In short, we were slightly higher, and customer choose cheaper.
Cheaper Result (Before): Barricade was installed incorrectly leaving massive wrinkles, crooked copy, Seams in banner panels.
Cost of Cheaper:
1. Applied Advertising resurveyed the barricade.
2. Client had to reprint entire graphic
3. Client had to pay AA to remove poorly installed graphic
4. AA had to install new graphic
5. Client lost credibility with attempt to install cheaper.
6. Client ended up paying 2x the amount instead of paying for expericance the first time.
Moral of the story: You get what you pay for. Shortcuts increase opportunity cost to an organization that gambles with a brands visual message.
