JKS Incorporated

JKS Incorporated Energizing Brands Since 1984 In 1983, Will Spencer founded JKS on Liberty Street in the heart of downtown Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

JKS Incorporated is a WBENC- and NC HUB-Certified woman-owned business that puts innovation, creativity, and experience to work for small businesses, corporate clients, and everyone in between. Since then, he and current JKS president, Christy Cox Spencer, have worked diligently to expand the company’s services and clientele by working with local companies, advertising agencies from all over the U

.S., and big brand names. At JKS, we work closely with our clients to map out exactly what they want out of their concept or brand experience and then bring it to fruition. JKS is certified as a Women’s Business Enterprise by the Women’s Business National Council (WBENC), the nation’s largest third-party certifier of businesses owned and operated by women. We recognize the commitment to supplier diversity that is embraced by corporations and government agencies today and can add diversity to your supply chain. After spending some time in Welcome, North Carolina from 2007 to early 2020, today we’re back in our home on Liberty Street—back to our roots and every bit as committed to delighting our clients.

A great first impression starts at the front entrance! 🐎

We recently completed perforated window decals for the front entrance at Parkland High School in Winston-Salem, creating a polished look while maintaining full visibility from the inside. We carefully matched the existing white horse graphics to ensure a seamless, cohesive appearance.

We were honored to see JKS Incorporated's President, Christy Cox Spencer, speak at the 2026 Intern Experience Kickoff hosted by Greater Winston-Salem, Inc. in collaboration with Winston Under 40.

As a Winston-Salem native and entrepreneur, Christy shared her journey of building businesses in the community she proudly calls home while also highlighting the meaningful impact interns can have on an organization. Having worked with interns throughout her career, she spoke about the fresh perspectives, creativity, and energy they bring to the workplace and encouraged attendees to embrace every opportunity to learn and grow.

She also shared what she loves most about Winston-Salem, a city full of opportunity for those willing to dream big and build something meaningful, and wished each intern a rewarding and successful summer experience.

Thank you to Greater Winston-Salem, Inc. for the opportunity to connect with the next generation of leaders. We can't wait to see all they'll accomplish this summer and beyond!

On Sunday night around 11PM, an individual driving an SUV traveled down Liberty St., failed to stop at the dead end, barreled through the guard rail, and crashed into the 1951 Nash Airflyte displayed in front of The Nash.

The driver fled the scene without stopping. We have filed a police report with the Winston-Salem Police Department, and the incident is currently under investigation. Unfortunately, this marks the fourth time in the past two years that a vehicle has failed to stop at this dead end and caused damage in this area.

While all previous collisions have thankfully only resulted in property damage, we are increasingly concerned that if these incidents continue, someone will end up getting injured or worse. We are actively working with the North Carolina Department of Transportation to improve the visibility of the dead end by adding additional curbing and directional arrows in an effort to help prevent future accidents.

If you recognize the SUV from the video or have any information that may assist in the investigation, please contact the Winston-Salem Police Department. We believe the SUV is a 2005 Land Rover Range Rover Sport (either white or silver), with heavy front end damage.

What an incredible moment for Winston-Salem! 🇩🇪⚽

JKS Incorporated President Christy Cox Spencer had the opportunity to attend Monday’s public training session as Team Germany took the field at Wake Forest University. Seeing one of the world’s premier soccer programs call our city home during the FIFA World Cup is an exciting reminder of the international spotlight shining on our community.

We’re proud to celebrate this once-in-a-generation opportunity and all the positive exposure it brings to Winston-Salem!
