I had a thought about imagining a Santa/Krumpus take on the Tooth Fairy (without revisiting the evil tooth fairy vibe that others have done). I imagined Toothpickers: lilliputian miners who visit in the night raiding negligent mouth for gold (yellow teeth) and creating cavities with reckless swings of their pick axes.

This is a tough one. Do you go architectural and cavernous (or an exterior) with the illustration? I’m trying to keep these prompts simpler in shape and depth, so when I reached for the spice jars on the wall while making this season’s first pumpkin pie for the family, inspiration struck.

Not sure if I’ll be able to conjure an illustration every day this month, but heavens I’m going to give it a go. I’m trying not to be perfectionist on these, but I thought the first face was not melty enough. Swipe to see the process video and enjoy the indecision.

[sketchbook] A quick logo process clip showing the twists and turns I explored working on this Elon Phoenix athletics monogram.

I appreciate the fanbase likes the current E, but I was curious how it could look if it had flame, and then the bird, worked back into the design.

[sketchbook] I saw the open call for Foothills Brewing Jade designs a couple weeks back, and imagined a dragoness holding a centurion offering a hop flower. Sadly the stars didn’t align and I wasn’t able to get it beyond a rough sketch to submit by today.

Blarg, but that’s the way the pencil splits sometimes.
