When founder Linda Costa launched her public relations and marketing business 40 years ago, one of her first clients was a local food pantry – and in the years since, we’ve supported a wide range of good causes in Central Florida. To honor CCG’s 40th anniversary, we returned to our roots with a food and donation drive for Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida, while wearing orange to raise awareness for Hunger Action Month.

To combat the cold winter, the Senior Resource Alliance - SRA Florida distributed more than 120 space heaters as well as blankets and sweaters last Friday. Seniors came out to the Longwood distribution site and were able to pick up their items without having to leave their car. Voting for the 2024 Best of Winter Park Competition is open! Vote for your favorite businesses in 50 categories at winterpark.org/vote through Friday, Oct. 11.

The Best of Winter Park, a friendly competition that promotes and provides engagement opportunities for businesses doing great work in and around Winter Park, is hosted in partnership by Winter Park Magazine, presented Lane Technology Solutions and Park Smiles Dentistry, and supported by The Mayflower at Winter Park, Rothman Orthopaedic Institute and Florida Blue.

Voters may vote once per day in each category and must have a valid email address to participate.

Nominated businesses can find printable flyers and social media assets at winterpark.org/vote to help promote participation in the competition. Businesses must be a member in good standing with the Winter Park Chamber of Commerce to compete.
