The late Brenda March was a key inspiration behind the One Way documentary. At the ONYX Magazine Women on the Move, Mayor Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer spoke of her involvement when he presented a plaque to her family, her husband, Charles, and her daughter and sons--along with two of the reel's producers.
We want to take a moment to honor the life and legacy of Brenda March. Brenda was not only a supporter of the One Way documentary. She was foundational to it. Without her, this project would not exist. She served as a bridge to the Parramore community, offering trust, access, and insight into the lives of the young men whose stories are being told. Brenda dedicated her life to advocacy. Through Parramore Kidz Zone and her work across this community, she invested in people, in opportunity, and in lasting change. We recently won four Suncoast Regional Emmys for our sizzle reel, and we at RedFour Productions wanted to recognize her contribution to this achievement. This Emmy plaque represents more than recognition for a film. It reflects Brenda’s impact, her commitment, and the countless lives she touched. We are honored to stand here and recognize her legacy. It lives on in this work, and in this community.
