It was such an honor to do this aerial engagement photoshoot for Kate and Holly, my wonderful friends/students/coworkers at Air Temple Arts the other week!

The additional fact that these two incredible humans found each other through a community I began will never stop taking the cake, and being able to be part of this stage in their story is such a joy. ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

I don’t remember how we got started doing February takeout and dress up pics in my little loft photo studio a few years ago, but our Galentines tradition is one of my faves each winter.

So psyched we made something work out this year, very much on the fly, minus the takeout and snuggling, and plus freezing fingies.

I’m so thankful for my friendship with you. I’m thankful that somehow this pandemic brought us closer together. Your presence in my life made so many parts of this year not only bearable, but wonderful.

These days I’m thinking a lot about where I was four years ago, for obvious reasons.

Four years ago and I were just getting to know each other, working on Sherlock Holmes and the Sapphire Night.

We were both very different people then, and looking so far back it’s much easier to mark growth and progress. I don’t think that I would have guessed we’d be so close now, but I’m glad to be wrong—even if Jill was the type of person to put spray rosin in her hair, and I have the sneaking suspicion that she might still be. ♥️
