Spent Sunday morning at the Wooden Shoe Tulip Festival! Lots to do here for adults and kids. Plenty of space for your little one to explore. Though it is super muddy right now! Food, hayride, bouncy house and other activities make this a good bet. $5 per adult. Food prices were reasonable too. .

Stopped by this afternoon for some food and to catch the game. What a great spot! Super kid friendly! They have a whole area for kids to explore. Beer was excellent. And food from the food carts outside was top notch. We definitely recommend this spot for families. It's a bit of a trek being out Airport Way, but worth it!
Thanks to for the recommendation!

Spent the morning at ! The Oregon Museum of Science & Industry has excellent learning opportunities for kids up to adults. Currently they have a exhibit that has a few things for little kids but is probably better suited for older kids and adults. The Science Playground has a huge area right now and other options for kids 6 and under. If you think you'll go more than twice, a membership is definitely worth it! Highly recommended!

One of the best parent resources in Portland-area is ! Here I'm highlighting their "Kid's Calendar". It is an excellent tool for seeing what's going on, and it even syncs with Outlook! We regularly refer to it when headed out of the house. To find it, go-to www.pdxparent.com/events-calendar-2

Looking for childcare in SE Portland?? We have our little guy at Manos Unidas Montessori and it's been a great experience! It's a bilingual school located near 87th and Foster in the neighborhood. The teachers are excellent and well-trained with little turnover. The community of parents is very engaged too. It's a good sign when the kids run into the classroom ready for their day to start! Check them out .

Stopped by Sunday to pick up a few groceries. What an excellent shop! Well curated and great selection. Prices were reasonable. And for the kids, there is a whole play area to the right of the front door complete with books, piano, drum, and other toys for your little one to explore while you shop. They serve delicious coffee too!
Located in Foster-Powell neighborhood. .

One of our regular weekend morning stops, Papaccino's in Woodstock is a great coffee shop if you have kiddos! There is a well stocked play area with seating to keep an eye on your little one. They carry Henry Higgins bagels (), breakfast sandwiches, and a cereal bar! Outdoor seating too. Plus at night, they serve beer for the 21+ crowd. Highly recommended!
