Some facts about Digital Marketing that I find important:

The goal of SEO is to get a business to rank higher in Google search results, ultimately increasing search engine traffic to the business’s website.

What channels make up digital marketing?

Search engines, social media, blogs, online ads, affiliate marketing, emails, and mobile apps.

Pay-per-click refers to paid advertisements and promoted search engine results.

Social media marketing- This includes everything a business does via social media channels. Just about everyone is familiar with social media, but marketers must approach social with an integrated and strategic approach.

Content marketing- Content marketing uses storytelling and information sharing to increase brand awareness. Ultimately, the goal is to have the reader take an action towards becoming a customer, such as requesting more information, signing up for an email list, or making a purchase.

Email marketing is still one of the most effective marketing techniques to convert an audience into customers.

⭐️ One really nice feature: Shows you which hashtags you ranked on, so you know which ones perform for you or not.⠀

2. Canva - Easy Design Without Using Photoshop⠀

Canva is how I create all my social media posts, graphics, and carousels. Even though I have Photoshop, Canva is 1000% easier and quicker to use. ⠀

⭐️ One nice feature: Creation of templates so you can stick to a consistent style without having to recreate the look each time.⠀

I recently discovered Descript when I was editing my IG live video. It automatically generates a transcript for you, and has neat features like removing filler words (um, ah, like, you know), and cuts the video correspondingly if you edit and remove parts of the transcript.⠀

It's how I was able to take my 41 minute IG live and chop out 5 clips really quickly.⠀
⠀
⭐️ One really nice feature: Overdub, which lets you replace audio in the video if you said something incorrectly.⠀

Taplink is a supercharged alternative to Linktree. Not only does it let you put links, but it also lets you embed images, take payment, have people sign up to email list, and way more.⠀

Creates transcription of video or audio automatically. I use this when I don't want to take notes.⠀

Full suite of SEO tools like keyword research, site technical audit, weekly keyword tracking, etc.⠀
