I love seeing personality in a brand.

Your favorite TV show, drink order, clothing style, hobbies, and interests can absolutely help your people find you and connect with you faster.

But there's a difference between adding personality to your brand and building your entire identity around someone else's.

I've seen founders become known as:

☕ The Starbucks entrepreneur
🏰 The Disney adult
🌴 The beach lifestyle brand

The risk is that you're building recognition based on another company's relevance, not your own.

And if someone else can build the exact same brand by swapping Disney for Bravo, coffee for wine, or the beach for Paris...

That's not differentiation.

Those things might be part of who you are, but they're not what makes you different.

The strongest personal brands are recognizable because of their perspective.

Their ideas.
Their values.
Their expertise.
Their way of seeing the world.

The little personality quirks simply reinforce what's already there.

The goal isn't for people to remember what you watch, wear, or drink.

The goal is for people to remember you.

What's something that makes your perspective different from everyone else in your industry?

Monica already had a strong consulting business and loyal clients, but her brand still looked generic, her messaging lacked connection, and her website wasn’t backing up the level of expertise she actually had.

After working together, everything shifted: ✨ Her brand finally reflected her authority and set her apart from the competition
✨ Her website became a stronger conversion tool, not just an online brochure
✨ She started attracting higher-value opportunities and those perfect-fit clients she WANTED to work with
✨ She doubled revenue compared to the previous year

When you have a brand that truly reflects you as the authority that you are, everything shifts. Your confidence, the way you show up, the opportunities that start flowing your way.

People feel the difference.

The best part? It’s not magic. It’s what happens when your brand has strategy behind it instead of just some pretty fonts and colors. And it can happen for you too.

Your brand should do more than “look nice.” It should position you as the obvious choice and support real, long-term growth.

Your brand isn’t just how things look. It’s how people move.

From:
“I just found you”
to
“I trust you”
to
“I’m ready to work with you”

And the best part?

Every step of that journey is measurable.

So instead of asking:
“Why isn’t this working?”

Start asking:
“Where is my brand breaking down?”

That’s where the real growth is.

I spent too much of the last 10 years living in survival mode. I’m grateful to have built a business that supported my life, and to have built a life I don’t need a vacation from.

Women are building brands at a rate we have never seen before, and the momentum isn’t slowing down.

In 2025, 49% of businesses created were started by women, the highest rate in five years and a massive 69% increase from 2019.

This isn’t a trend. It’s a shift.

Women are creating opportunity, stability, and leadership, often in the middle of uncertainty, pivots, and life-altering moments.

I know because I’ve lived it.

This is the work I care about: building brands that actually support your life, your growth, and your next level.

Because you don’t need to do more.
You need a brand that does more for you.

Are most of your clients coming from in-person connections?

I attended 9 networking events last quarter, and I noticed a pattern I can't stop seeing.

The founders with the strongest presence in the room, the ones you immediately pay attention to? Their online presence matched that in-person energy.

You’d meet them, be blown away, look them up later and think, “Yep. That tracks.” And click to follow or schedule a call.

But then I'd meet someone equally impressive, someone with just as much experience (or more), and go to their website or socials and I'd think,
"Is this even the same person?"

Same level of expertise. Completely different first impression online.

And without the in-person context? The connection drops. They lose your attention the moment you’re no longer face-to-face.

Not because they aren’t good at what they do.
But because their brand isn’t carrying the same weight.

That gap between who you are in real life and how your brand shows up when you’re not in the room? It’s one of the most expensive invisible problems in business.

Your brand is doing the talking for you long before you ever get on a call.

It shapes how people see you.
What they expect from you.
Whether they trust you.
Whether they choose you.

So the question becomes:

If someone meets you… and then looks you up later…

Does your brand confirm what they felt?
Does it build trust and position you as the expert you are?

Or does it create doubt?

If it’s the second one, that’s not something to ignore. That’s something to fix.

Because the goal isn’t just to be impressive in the room. It’s to have a brand and website that hold that same presence.

A brand and website that position you as the authority you are and attract those perfect-for-you clients even when you're not there to explain it.

Most service websites convert around 1-3%. If your website gets traffic but not many inquiries, the problem usually isn’t marketing.

It’s conversion, and conversion is a branding problem.

I see this often when reviewing websites for established experts:

They’ve invested in design.
They’re posting content.
They’re driving traffic.

But their website is still functioning more like an online brochure than a strategic sales tool.

Here are a few website mistakes I see all the time that can cost you sales every day:

→ messaging that talks about you instead of your client and the problem you solve
→ unclear positioning that doesn't establish authority
→ outdated messaging and visuals from an earlier stage in your business
→ focusing on deliverables instead of results
→ no clear conversion path for visitors to work with you
→ no real way to capture leads who aren’t ready to buy yet

When those pieces are missing, even a beautifully designed website won’t convert the way it should.

If your website gets traffic but not many inquiries...

I'll show you exactly what I would fix.

If most of your clients come from referrals, it usually means one thing:

Your website isn’t doing enough of the selling for you.

Referrals are amazing. They mean people love your work.

But a strategic brand and website should also be able to:

• Turn visitors into leads
• Turn leads into calls
• Turn calls into clients

Sure, you want a website that looks good. And of course you want more visibility and traffic.

But you also want a website that is ready to build trust with those new viewers, prove you to be the authority that you are, and strategically convert them into buyers so your marketing doesn't have to work so hard.

That’s how you move from inconsistent growth to clients booking on repeat.

Inside my free guide, The Brand That Books, I break down:

• The client journey from visibility to sales
• How branding impacts every stage of conversion
• The key numbers you should actually be tracking

From the moment someone discovers you… to the moment they say yes.

Can we talk about two words I see everywhere in the online business space?

Clarity.
Confidence.

They sound good. They feel aligned. And on the surface, they make sense.

But if those are the core promises of your brand…
your messaging might be the reason you’re not attracting those perfect-for-you clients.

Clarity and confidence are what your clients experience after working with you.
They’re not the reason someone decides to hire you.

Buyers want something deeper.
Something more specific.
Something that makes them feel instantly seen.

And ironically…
“clarity” has become one of the vaguest words online.

Clarity about what?
Confidence in what?

It sounds nice…
but it doesn’t differentiate you.
And it doesn’t position you as the authority.

What it does tend to do
is attract women at the very beginning of their journey
the ones who are still figuring everything out.

And that’s not a bad thing…
unless that’s not who you actually want to work with.

Because the women I work with?

They’re not lacking clarity.
They’ve built six-figure businesses.
They’ve refined their offers.
They know exactly how they help people.

The real issue is this:

Their brand still looks and sounds like the version of them
who was still figuring it out.

And that disconnect impacts everything:

• your conversion rates
• your pricing power
• the clients you attract

When your brand reflects your authority…

You attract higher-level clients.
You build trust faster.
Those perfect-for-you clients come to the call ready to say yes.

*That’s* the shift.

Not more clarity.
Not more confidence.

Stronger positioning.
Better results.

So I’m curious…

What’s a word in your industry that sounds good…
but isn’t actually saying anything?

Most therapy brands feel overly clinical and cold or vague and indistinguishable. They rely on generic messaging and overused imagery that feels disconnected from real life.

For a practice focused on neurodivergent minds, this creates a lack of recognition.

At Good Thinking, their audience doesn’t just want support. They want to feel seen, understood, and safe from the very first interaction.

The goal was to reflect how their audience actually lives, not how therapy is traditionally portrayed.

Good Thinking now stands apart from traditional therapy brands. It feels more human, more relatable, and more aligned with the people it’s meant to serve. It creates an immediate sense of: “this is for me.”

The brand feels human, cozy, and real, while still positioning the practice as credible, professional, and deeply trusted.

A strategic brand positions you as the authority, builds trust faster, and turns visibility into perfect-for-you clients who are ready to say yes.

If your next reel went viral tomorrow, would strangers:

• Click to follow?
• Hop on over to your website?
• Book a call?

Or would they scroll… and leave?

Sure, you want more visibility and increased traffic, but you also want a brand and website that:

• is ready to build trust
• positions you as an authority
• converts clicks into clients

Here's what too many entrepreneurs miss:

Marketing brings people in.
Branding is what makes them stay.

It’s what positions you as the authority.
It’s what builds trust.
It’s what turns attention into action.

You can't have one without the other.

If you’re:
• Getting views but not booking
• Attracting low-budget clients
• Stuck hearing “I’ll think about it”

It’s not a marketing problem.
It’s a branding problem.

You don't need more hustle.
You need a brand that books.
