An owner told me AI training was an expense he couldn't justify. So I showed him the number and he went quiet.

Every dollar into training comes back about $3.70. The average worker gets back around 11 hours a week once they actually know what they're doing — roughly $8,700 a year, per person.

And teams with a real system get double the return of teams winging it. Same tools. Same people. The difference is whether anybody trained them.

I put an AI receptionist live for a real business in one day. The rule that mattered more than the speed is one you should use on anything new in your shop.

Before a single customer heard it, I called it myself. Asked real questions, tried to trip it up, asked for a human, got transferred. Then the friends-and-family test — give the number to two people you trust, let them try to break it, fix what they find. Then it answers customers.

Most guys think this is a six-month IT project. This one took a day, because the testing had a system.

What's the last thing you put live without testing it on a friend first? Be honest. Run your own numbers: https://www.dipilatoautomations.com/roi-calculator

Everybody says AI saves your team time. Without a system it quietly steals it back.

There's a name for it now — workslop. Somebody fires off a slick AI draft, dumps it on a coworker, and that coworker burns an hour figuring out what's actually real. The work looks done. It isn't.

More than a third of the time AI "saves" gets eaten by cleanup. That's not an AI problem, it's a no-training problem.

What's the worst one you've seen? Tell me below. The fix: https://www.dipilatoautomations.com/ma-ai-grant

The biggest fear owners tell me about an AI answering their phone: what is it saying when I'm not listening? Fair question. Here's the actual answer.

Every single call gets written down, word for word. Next morning with your coffee you can read every conversation it had — what people asked, what it said, what it booked. And there's an off switch. Yours, not mine. Flip it and it's off in one second.

Now compare that to your current setup. Can you read what your voicemail lost last week?

Would reading every transcript make you trust it, or still no? Tell me straight. https://www.dipilatoautomations.com/roi-calculator

Somebody on your team has ChatGPT open in a tab they'll close when you walk by. They're already using AI — nobody ever showed them how.

It's not "should we use AI." Your people already are. They're guessing. Copy, paste, hope.

In Massachusetts the state can cover the training to fix that, up to 100% for companies with 100 or fewer MA W-2 employees. How it works: https://www.dipilatoautomations.com/ma-ai-grant

Be honest — is somebody on your team already using it? What for?

Busy morning, phone rings twice in the same minute. A person picks one up and the other one eats voicemail — or worse, gets a busy signal.

The AI just takes both. Same greeting, same answers, same booking, at the same time. There's no line, so nobody waits and nobody bounces.

You don't lose calls because your people are bad. You lose them because a human can only hold one phone.

How often does your line ring twice at once — daily? weekly? Tell me below. Run your number: https://www.dipilatoautomations.com/roi-calculator

Massachusetts will reimburse your team's AI training — and plenty of owners who try still get nothing. Same three mistakes, every time.

1. The application has a 21-day clock.
2. You need three separate state documents, and one of them can lock you out for 30 days if you pull it wrong.
3. The invoice has to match the approved course name character for character.

Miss any of those and you get nothing. That sounds scary but it's good news — the money's real, the course is state-approved, and the paperwork is just a checklist. I walk clients through it free; the state doesn't let providers charge for that part.

Which of the three would've got you? The walkthrough: https://www.dipilatoautomations.com/ma-ai-grant

Let me describe your phone system. A cell phone, a voicemail nobody listens to, and a sticky note that says call this guy back. Am I close?

The note falls off the dashboard. Most people won't even leave a voicemail — they just call your competitor. And "I'll remember to call him back" never survives past dinner.

That's not a system. That's a leak with extra steps.

A real system answers, writes it down, books it, and texts you what happened. Nothing falls off the dash.

Describe YOUR system in the comments — sticky note gang, sound off. See what it costs you a month: https://www.dipilatoautomations.com/roi-calculator

The Workforce Training Fund cap is per calendar year. Whatever room you don't use, you don't get to carry.

It isn't a loan and it isn't a tax credit you chase for months — it's a reimbursement fund that Massachusetts employers pay into. Up to $15,000 per company per year, up to $3,000 a person, up to 100% covered for companies with 100 or fewer MA W-2 employees. You apply, the state decides.

Comment CAP and I'll check how much room your company has left this year. Free, takes a day.

What are your hours. Do you do this kind of job. How soon can you come out. Is it free to get a quote. Where are you located.

Sound familiar? None of those questions need YOU. But every one of them rings your pocket, and you climb down, wipe your hands, and answer it — because if you don't, they call the next guy.

So your day gets chopped into pieces by questions a notecard could answer.

Give the robot the notecard. Keep the calls that actually need you. That's the whole product.

Which question eats your day the most? Drop it below. https://www.dipilatoautomations.com/roi-calculator
