There’s something so fun about a shoot that starts with a vision and actually comes to life in a way that feels even better than you imagined.

When Thais and I started planning this, we kept coming back to the same ideas… color, movement, personality. She has such a unique style that blends elegance with a modern, playful edge, and I really wanted that to come through in every part of this session.

We spent time pulling inspiration, building out mood boards, and finding a space that would complement her energy without taking away from it. This home in Stoneham ended up being the perfect backdrop. The design, the light, the textures… everything worked together so seamlessly with her style.

Once I got her in front of the camera, it was all about creating space for her to move, settle in, and just be herself. Those natural, in-between moments always end up being the ones that feel the most powerful.

So much goes into sessions like this before a single photo is even taken, but that’s what makes the end result feel so aligned and intentional.

I love how these images reflect both her personality and her brand in a way that feels elevated, but still true to who she is 🤍

I’ve been thinking a lot about how I would like to show up online…

The behind-the-scenes isn’t just photoshoots and design work, it’s usually me juggling a camera, a laptop, and a baby on my hip, trying to answer emails during nap time and squeezing in edits whenever I can.

Somehow, this is the season I’m building a business in.

I’m a photographer and graphic designer, but really I just love creating things that feel beautiful and genuine. That’s always been the goal, even back when I was studying in Limerick… which honestly feels like a lifetime ago now.

So much has changed since then.

Becoming a mom shifted everything for me. Not in a polished, picture-perfect way - more in a “I see the world differently now and I don’t have the energy for things that don’t matter” kind of way.

I care a lot less about things looking perfect…
and a lot more about things feeling real.

That shows up in my work too.

Whether I’m photographing you or building your brand, I’m not trying to fit you into a box or make you look like everyone else online. I want you to feel comfortable, seen, and actually like yourself.

Because at the end of the day, that’s what people connect with.

This business has grown with me through so many phases of life, and it’s still growing, still evolving, just like I am.

So if you’re here, whether you’ve worked with me before or you’ve just been following along quietly… I really appreciate it. Truly.

Today I had the opportunity to capture photos in this beautiful mid-century inspired home in Stoneham, MA.

I’ve been really drawn to spaces like this lately. Over the past year especially, I’ve gotten more into interior design and I feel like it’s changed how I shoot. I pay more attention to the little things now—the textures, the light, how everything comes together without feeling overdone.

When it comes to personal branding, location plays a bigger role than people realize. It’s not just about finding a pretty space—it’s about finding a place that actually fits you.

Thais and I chose this home really intentionally. The tones, the pops of color, the mix of textures—it all felt like a natural extension of her style, which makes the photos feel that much more real.

There have been a lot of quiet moments behind the scenes lately… reflecting on my work, the direction I want to grow in, and how I want to show up creatively.

This past year, becoming a mother has given me space to slow down and really think about what I want the future of my business to look like. In those quiet moments, I kept coming back to the same thing — the work I love most is helping people bring their stories and ideas to life visually.

So I’m excited to share that I’ve officially started Gaelyn Rose Creative LLC.

This new chapter brings together the different parts of my creative work — photography, visual storytelling, and creative direction for modern brands and entrepreneurs who want imagery that feels thoughtful, elevated, and authentic to them.

While my focus is on helping brands create strong, meaningful visuals, I will absolutely continue offering the types of sessions that have meant so much to me over the years — family photos, portraits, and personal photography sessions. Those moments and connections will always be an important part of my work.

Right now I’m beginning to take bookings for Spring and Summer photography sessions on Cape Cod, and I’d love to connect if you’ve been thinking about updating your brand imagery, planning a portrait session, or working together on something creative.

More to come soon as this new chapter continues to take shape, but for now I just wanted to share this step forward.
