Did someone say "Upgrade"?

We just levelled up our ability to pick up orders from our customers with a new, much larger cargo van! This is just one more step towards improving our service capacity for our clients.

Two of our team members had the amazing opportunity to attend an RS Bootcamp over the weekend in Syracuse NY. This training session helps us stay on the cutting edge of the packing and shipping industry.

Assistant Manager Zack and General Manager Caleb had the opportunity to learn from some of the titans of our industry while also networking with many other pack-and-ship stores in our region.

We are so lucky to have such eager learners and go-getters on our Postal Connections team!

Proper packaging is the #1 way to make sure that your items arrive at their destination safely. Always be sure to use a proper shipping container when sending fragile items!

📢FUNDRAISER ALERT📢

This month we have partnered with the Ore Valley PTO for another shredding fundraiser. 25% of all shredding proceeds next week will be donated directly to them so that they can provide a fun learning experience for the kids who go there.

It's not too late to get your tax returns mailed in!

Come in to our store and ask for "Certified Mail" so you can be sure that your returns are recorded as being sent before the tax deadline at the end of the day.

With tax day being this upcoming Wednesday, April 15th, it is important to understand the recent changes to how the USPS handles postmarking mail.

As of December 24, 2025, the USPS updated its postmarking rules (DMM 608.11) to reflect the date mail is first processed by an automated machine at a regional facility, rather than the date it was dropped off. This means the postmark may be dated 1-3 days after mailing, creating risks for deadlines.

We recommend that if you are planning to send your tax returns this week that you have them sent "certified" mail so that you are given an instant, electronic date of mailing to avoid issues with the new postmark system.

Did you know that the Postal Connections Franchise was founded by some of the minds behind Mail Boxes Ect.? MBE was one of the original pack & ship franchises, and they ultimately were purchased by UPS to create the original UPS Stores.

Fred & Andy took what they learned from MBE and started Postal Connections; the next generation of pack & ship stores. Their industry experience and knowledge helps to provide Postal Connections stores like ours with a strong foundation for our business.
