When a community is being asked to invest $67.4 million in its schools, the way that investment is visualized matters.

VISUALIZING THE NEXT CHAPTER OF YORK SUBURBAN

Originally built in 1958, YS has served generations of students, teachers, families and the broader York community.

Now, nearly SEVEN DECADES later, York Suburban is entering a new chapter.

The planned $67.4 million dollar high school renovation represents a significant investment in the future of the district, with comprehensive renovations, a new two-story science wing, expanded learning spaces and a new natatorium among the planned improvements.

But there's another part of a project this important that I think deserves attention:

How do we show the community what the future will feel like? How do we represent what our community will experience?

-Architecture drawings done by Crabtree, Rohrbaugh & Associates do a great job of explaining how to construct a building.

-Professional Visualization make you experience those drawings.

For a project of this scale, impactful imagery is paramount in helping students, parents, alumni, taxpayers and community members understand not just what is being built, but why it matters.

-What does a modern science environment feel like?

-What does a new student gathering space look like when it's full of life?

-What does the new natatorium mean for students, the community, and the swimming programs RICH HISTORY?

-What does a 21st-century learning environment actually look and FEEL like?

These are questions that powerful architectural visualization answers.

With our founder, Anthony Billet and alumnus of York Suburban and the founder of abSketches, we would have loved the opportunity to help tell that story.

Not to replace the architectural drawings and cartoon representation.

To bring them to life!

When a community is making a significant investment in its school, I believe the public deserves to see and FEEL the overall vision and opportunity a project like this will afford.

WHAT IF THIS VACANT LOT COULD HELP YORK MOVE FORWARD—WITHOUT LEAVING ITS PAST BEHIND?

York has an opportunity to rethink what happens on one of its most visible vacant lots.

After seeing the conversation around what residents would like to see here, abSketches explored one possible vision: a thoughtfully designed condominium community that brings new residents, new investment, and new energy into the heart of York.

But this isn't about replacing the people who are already here.

It's about creating more opportunity for everyone.

More residents living downtown can mean:

→ More customers for local businesses
→ More activity on our streets
→ More demand for restaurants, shops, and services
→ More private investment in the surrounding neighborhood
→ A stronger commercial district
→ A broader property-tax base
→ More resources to reinvest in the city

And perhaps most importantly, more choices about how people can live in York.

A healthy city doesn't have to choose between attracting new investment and preserving its existing community.

It can do both.

The goal shouldn't be to make York less York.

It should be to create a York where the people who grew up here, the people building businesses here, and the people discovering the city for the first time all have a reason to stay, invest, and believe in its future.

This is just one concept for what could happen on this site.

But maybe the bigger question is:

What do we want York to become—and what can we build together to get there?

WHERE ARCHITECTURE MEETS CARE.

Healthcare facilities are some of the most complex projects to communicate visually.

They aren't simply buildings—they are places where patients, families, physicians, staff, and entire communities come together.
For St. Luke’s Hospital – Anderson Campus in Easton, Pennsylvania, we developed a visualization focused on communicating the scale and character of the campus and its relationship to the surrounding community.
Located at the intersection of Route 33 and Interstate 78, the 500+ acre campus serves communities throughout the greater Lehigh Valley.

Our goal with the visualization was to communicate more than the architecture itself:
→ The arrival experience
→ The relationship between buildings and landscape
→ Campus identity and sense of place
→ Accessibility and connectivity
→ A welcoming environment for patients and families

This is where architectural visualization can become more than a final image.
It becomes a communication tool—helping owners, architects, developers, stakeholders, and communities understand what a project can become before it exists.

HARD ROCK. REIMAGINED.

What if Hard Rock didn't need to get louder—but more sophisticated? For the proposed Hard Rock Hotel in Dalian, China, we explored exactly that question.

What does the next generation of Hard Rock hospitality look like?

For the Hard Rock Hotel in Dalian, China, we explored a more elevated interpretation of an iconic global brand—one that retains the energy and cultural DNA of Hard Rock while introducing a more refined, sophisticated hospitality experience.

The design concept explores the intersection of music, luxury, architecture, and social experience.

Rather than making the brand louder, the idea was to make it more immersive.

From sculptural architectural elements and curated music memorabilia to intimate lounge environments and dramatic lighting, every detail was designed to create moments that feel distinctive without overwhelming the guest.

The ambition:
→ Preserve the unmistakable identity of Hard Rock
→ Elevate the material and design language
→ Create a more sophisticated social experience
→ Make music part of the architecture—not simply the décor
→ Position the hotel as a destination within Dalian

This is where we believe architectural visualization becomes more than representation. It becomes a tool for exploring, communicating, and selling a vision before it exists.

REFUEL. RELAX. RECONNECT.

What if a gas station could be more than a place to stop?

For Keystone Arms in Carlisle, PA, we explored the opportunity to bring a regional fuel/convenience operator into the development and demonstrate how the right operator could become an integral part of the neighborhood.

Positioned at a highly visible corner, the proposed development creates a natural neighborhood gateway—connecting:

🏘️ New residential living
🛍️ Convenient neighborhood retail
⛽ Fuel + convenience
🌳 Landscaped pedestrian connections
🚦 High-visibility access

The vision was to create a setting where the gas station becomes part of the community, rather than simply occupying a corner of it.
