McGarvie Signs Signs, Truck Lettering, Screen Printing, Pin Stripping, Hand Lettering, Boat Lettering I have been in the sign trade since 1972.

All work was hand lettered until 1986 when the first computor cut lettering started. I still hand letter and paint now but not as much as the old days. It's still a different day every day. I have enjoyed almost every day that I have worked doing signs.

I was on Facebook Marketplace last night and what do I come across but a Boat I Lettered (1986) 40 years ago. I can remember the day in the owner's yard in Lynn, Mass. Hand lettered with a typeface straight out of my head, The power of paint still alive after 40 years! Miss those days.
