✨ 11 Years of Design ✨

Today marks 11 years since I started designing logos and branding for small businesses. When I first began, my mom and I were creating together, learning, experimenting, and building side by side.

Today it’s just me at the desk, but the heart of what I do hasn’t changed. I’m still here, still creating, and still passionate about helping brands find their voice and identity.

To every client who has trusted me with your vision over the years, thank you. You’ve made this journey not only possible, but meaningful. Here’s to the next chapter and to many more years of creativity ahead.

I’m Back — And Better Than Ever

Hey friends — it’s been a minute. After a 1-year hiatus, I’m finally back behind the screen, doing what I love most: helping small business owners bring their brands to life.

The last couple of years brought some serious challenges my way:
— My entire Etsy shop was stolen
— My website was hacked
— PayPal didn’t work for three whole months
— My own branding was completely ripped off and copied
— A couple of my clients outright stole their samples
— And Facebook? It felt impossible to be seen.

But through it all, I didn’t give up. I didn’t completely shut down.
I rebuilt.

And now? I’m coming back stronger, sharper, and more aligned than ever — ready to serve small business owners with designs that feel like you — just elevated.

Here’s what’s new:
🌟 A beautiful new Branding Guide to walk you through the process
💸 Simplified Pricing to fit your needs
🖋 A clean new Contract + Streamlined Payment System
📝 A thoughtful Questionnaire to make sure I fully understand your vision
⚡️ Faster Turnaround Times – because you’ve got a business to run

This isn’t just a comeback — it’s a glow-up.

💬 If you’ve been thinking about rebranding, or you’re just proud of the comeback – drop a 🙌 or 💛 in the comments!

Curious about what the new process looks like? DM me “REBRAND” and I’ll send over my new guide!

Let’s make some magic together. 💛

Hello all! I get ask on the daily how to find my target audience. It's not super hard, but will take some work! So today, let's talk about finding your target audience and connecting with the right people who will truly appreciate your content. 🌟✨

1️⃣ Start by defining your niche and understanding your brand. What makes you unique? Who would benefit the most from your products, services, or content? Identifying your niche will help you narrow down your target audience. 🎯🔍

2️⃣ Conduct market research to gain insights into your potential audience. Look at the demographics, interests, behaviors, and preferences of people who might be interested in what you have to offer. This will help you create a detailed profile of your ideal audience. 📊🔬

3️⃣ Utilize social media analytics tools to gather data about your existing audience. Platforms like Facebook Insights, Instagram Insights, or Twitter Analytics provide valuable information about your followers, including their demographics, engagement patterns, and interests. 📈📲

4️⃣ Engage in social listening. Monitor conversations, hashtags, and discussions related to your industry or niche. This will give you a better understanding of what your target audience is talking about, their pain points, and what they're looking for. 🎧💬

5️⃣ Leverage audience targeting features on social media platforms. Facebook Ads Manager, for example, allows you to create custom audiences based on specific demographics, interests, and behaviors. This ensures your content reaches the right people. 🎯📲

6️⃣ Collaborate with influencers or industry experts who have a similar target audience. Their followers may align with your target audience, and partnering with them can help you reach a wider and more relevant audience. 🤝🌟

7️⃣ Finally, engage with your audience! Respond to comments, ask questions, and encourage discussions. Building genuine connections will help you understand your audience better and tailor your content to their needs and interests. 🤝💬

🌟 Remember, finding your target audience is an ongoing process. Continuously analyze your data, adapt your strategy, and stay open to feedback. The more you understand your audience, the better you can serve them! 🚀

📢 Share in the comments below if you have any other tips for finding and connecting with your target audience. Let's learn from each other! 💡💪

Hey all!

I have been so insanely busy here the last couple of months I have hardly had time to keep up with posting! June custom orders are open and there are a couple spots left, in July I will be out of the office from the 12 through the 24, and I also have 100+ gorgeous ready-made designs that will be getting posted daily! I used to post ready-made designs daily when I started, but I just got so busy with customs. I finally had a smidgen of time to get some new stuff prepped!

I hope you all are having a fantastic summer, and I can't believe the WHDS 9-year anniversary is in a couple short months!

Hey everyone! Just a quick note, hours have been adjusted to my typical in-office hours. As most of you know I have a kindergartner, and my husband recently had to switch to 12-hour shifts/6-day work week for a couple months so I have to take care of the little one first! I am also not in the office on the weekends to take care of my family and mental health

In my life I have always found that trying to describe myself was the hardest thing. I can list it out, but trying to describe myself in full, complete sentences has always been difficult. Maybe because I am a complex person, maybe because I am an artist and no words can really accurately describe me, or possibly I am too many things to try to describe. The one constant thing I know is art. Art is my life. Colors, styles, mediums... Around 10 I had a photoshoot with my dog Molly. Mom wasn’t too happy when she developed several cameras worth of film and they were all the dog in outfits all over the house. When I was 11 I wanted to be an interior designer, setting up gorgeous mansions in different cities. 12 was a little different for me, designing zines on old AOL dialup. I had 3 different ones, the one I specifically remember was my music zine. Sending out clips of my current favorite songs paired with horrible graphics designed on adobe photoshop 6 (not cs6, JUST 6!) At 13 scrapbooking took over and I started working in a camera store teaching teen classes. I was making my own layouts, centering, straightening, making sure elements were consistent. Around 15 I purchased my first point and shoot camera and from that moment on I have had a digital camera in my hand. I took photos at different school functions and had them published in the yearbook, took classes on photojournalism with the local paper and was published (admittedly I still have the articles.) When I graduated high school, I started my own photography business, and 10 years on I shoot all year! This all has led me to Wild Hyacinth Design Studio. When life happens, we do what we have to in order to survive. The one thing I have always known was art. WHDS started when my husband and I lost our jobs, he a chef and I a waitress. The owner shut down the restaurant unexpectedly and we were thrown into new territory not even a year after our wedding. The hubbs went back to school, then shortly after lost his unemployment. I was taking photos, working in a kitchen, and was not able to feed us or pay rent. My first ever batch of logos sold out in 15 minutes. When I told him, I was so giddy with excitement, I had found my second calling. 5 years since that first batch we have a house, a beautiful daughter, and a life that just a short time ago seemed so out of reach. So there you have it. The history of me in art, with a brain that is dipped in Lisa Frank and Alice in Wonderland, running on coffee, tattoos of colorful watercolor flowers, and Motion City Soundtrack playing through my headphones. Don’t let that put you off though, I am fluent in many styles because this is all I know! Love and hugs
