🎉We are excited to announce Tanarious Achan as our September 2026 Outstanding Employee of the Month!🎉

Tanarious was born and raised in Lafayette and has a three-year-old daughter, Taleigah. He is very close with his mother and grandmother. Around the workplace, many of his co-workers know him by the nickname, "T”. He is a 2017 graduate of Comeaux High School, where he played on the football team and was on the track team. After graduation, he moved to Riverside, California, where he played football at Riverside Community College for a year and a half. He eventually moved back home to Lafayette and started working. Before joining ABC, he worked at Ash Industries and Sky Zone. He has been with ABC for seven months as a Loading Swingman. He started as a temporary employee with us in Loading in May 2025 and was hired on full-time in January 2026. He says what he enjoys most about working at ABC is his team—they are his second family. When asked to share advice with new employees joining the team, he said, “Don’t take anything for granted and always keep a positive mindset.” If he had to pick one word that his teammates would use to describe him, it would be “energetic.” He is always looking for ways to motivate everyone around him.

In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends, traveling, and watching sports. He enjoys cheering on his favorite teams, the Pittsburgh Steelers and the LSU Tigers. When asked about his bucket list, he shared that he would love to travel to France to experience the food and culture! His favorite food is seafood - specifically boiled shrimp. His favorite genres of music are hip-hop and old-school R&B, specifically ‘80s R&B! When it comes to ABC’s product lineup, his favorite is Canda Dry Fruit Splash Cherry Ginger Ale.

Comments from those who nominated Tanarious include: “He is a really hard worker and is very humble. He always shows up to work, with no issues with call outs and/or tardies. He was a temp with us last summer, and after being hired, he continues to pull rate 4 consistently and gets along well with the team. If we could clone him, we would. He never complains and does his work - and does it the right way. He is the Swiss Army knife of the warehouse. His work ethic is top of the line.”

Congratulations, Tanarious! We look forward to many more years of having you as part of our ABC family! 💫

🎉We are excited to announce Dedrick Williams as our August 2026 Outstanding Employee of the Month!🎉

Dedrick was born and raised in Breaux Bridge and currently resides in Opelousas. He has been married for more than 25 years, and together he and his wife have three children. Around the workplace, many of his co-workers know him by the nicknames "D” or “Super D.” He has been with ABC for 28 years. He was hired as a Route Helper and, after a few months, was promoted to a Route B Driver. In 2014, he obtained his Class A CDL with ABC and was promoted to a MiniBulk-A Driver. In June 2023, he was promoted to Assistant Delivery Supervisor, his current position. He says what he enjoys most about working at ABC is that we are family-owned and operated. When asked to share advice with new employees joining the team, he said, “Sometimes you gotta’ take the L; you can’t always win. You gotta’ know when to tap in for the team.”

In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends, whether watching sports, or traveling to see comedy shows and concerts! When asked about his bucket list, he shared that he would love to travel to Hawaii for a vacation, but he doesn’t want to plan it - he just wants to go! He mentioned their favorite vacation destination is Universal Studios, as they have visited four times. His favorite food is smothered cabbage - can someone say soul food!? He enjoys attending sporting events in person and cheering on his favorite teams: the New Orleans Saints and the Houston Rockets.

Comments from those who nominated Dedrick include: “He is an unbelievable supervisor. He goes above and beyond every day; anything you ask him to do, he will do it. The month of June was very hectic and demanding, with staffing challenges and increased orders, he handled whatever issues we had with style and grace. He is a good example of what a team-player should be. He helps anyone who needs it, even if it means he must work harder. He always has a smile and is positive. He often takes the bigger routes to give our drivers a break. He always worries about everyone more than himself. He puts the true meaning into teamwork, and he’s the one we all count on.”

Congratulations, Dedrick! We look forward to many more years of having you as part of our ABC family! 💫
