It all began with Olivia. 💙
We wanted our daughter to have a place where she could feel included - a place where she could play, connect, grow, and simply be herself.
So, we purchased We Rock the Spectrum Kid’s Gym.
What began as a place for Olivia soon became so much more. We Rock the Spectrum grew into a cornerstone of our community - a place where children found friendship and belonging, and where parents found people who understood their journey.
As that community grew, so did its need for resources.
That need inspired us to create Beyond the Spectrum.
For years, Beyond the Spectrum has helped families access support through skill-building classes and programs such as social skills, speech, sign language, music, dance, adaptive P.E., art, and parent support.
But almost every day, we heard about another challenge: school.
Families shared how difficult it was to find the right learning environment, coordinate services, and make sure their children received the individualized support they needed.
Then a friend asked us a life-changing question:
“Have you ever thought about starting a school?”
The idea felt enormous - but the need was too important to ignore. With the encouragement of our community, and the support of our board, we pushed forward.
And now, Beyond the Spectrum Academy has officially opened its doors!
This school was built so students can learn in small, supportive classrooms, receive individualized instruction, and feel understood, valued, and capable.
As we begin our foundational year, we could truly use your help.
