After 110 years and five generations of family ownership, we have made the deeply emotional decision to sell the billboard assets of Barnes Advertising.
Since our family first opened its doors, our company has been far more than a business. It has been part of our family’s story and woven into the life of this community through generations of relationships, shared milestones, challenges, and countless memories. We are profoundly grateful to our customers, employees, friends, and neighbors whose loyalty and support have allowed our family business to grow and thrive for more than a century. We could never have reached this remarkable milestone without you.
Although the sale of our billboard assets marks the end of one important chapter, it is not the end of our family business. We are pleased to share that we will continue operating our on-premise sign business, Sign Shop at Barnes and serving the community that has supported our family for five generations. Our commitment to our customers, employees, and community remains as strong as ever, and we look forward to carrying our family’s legacy into this next chapter.
This moment brings many emotions, but above all, it fills us with tremendous pride and gratitude. It has been an extraordinary privilege for our family to serve this community for 110 years—and that service will continue.
