Finished these sweet knitted Christmas stockings for a customer!

Because the stockings are a loose knit, I didn’t want to embroider directly onto them — the stitches can sink, distort, or even damage the material.

Instead, I created custom embroidered name patches and then securely stitched them onto each stocking. This keeps the embroidery crisp, readable, and long-lasting while protecting the knit fabric.

I recently completed these personalized Christmas stockings for a customer’s grandchildren, and their sweet nicknames made this project such a joy to stitch. ❤️🎄

Each stocking was embroidered using the Stocking font and finished with the reverse hooping technique and my Mighty Hoop to ensure clean, precise results on the cuffs.

Projects like this remind me why I love what I do—creating personalized pieces that become part of a family’s holiday traditions.

Turnaround time for personalized stockings is currently up to two weeks, depending on my order load.
