Thong D**g is an art book project by 3 photographers An Đặng, Mạnh Phùng, Lâm Nguy. Thong D**g art book will be officially launched and on public display at LINEA from 07.01.2023 to 09.02.2023.

Thong D**g is where the 3 photographers share their moments on the moves, from amazing candid portraits to breathtaking landscapes. With a back-in-time device - a film camera, this trio of photographers enrich their memories with vibrant color accuracy and exposure of impromptu details in life in 35mm outputs. They are friends with different visual tastes whose individual journeys somehow merged in sync into "Thong D**g".

Nhân Trần is a project marking nearly 20 years of Rapper BigDaddy’s musical journey, approached by Đình Collective through the lens of everyday life and street culture — in a way that feels distinctly “Hà Nội”.

From the intentionally “messy” use of typography to details inspired by reliefs on French colonial buildings, carvings found in Vietnamese furniture and interiors; alongside a color palette extracted from very trà đá vỉa hè references — such as green window shutters, strawberry-red Sting, and the faded tones of old French walls.

The typography draws inspiration from hip hop and skate culture (notably the Thrasher logo), combined with R***e — a typeface deeply rooted in Hanoi’s signage landscape. Together, they form a typographic language that feels both raw and familiar.

All visuals shown are concept designs developed by Đình Collective and are not official release versions. Image usage has been permitted for showcase and sharing purposes.

Nhân Trần là dự án đánh dấu gần 20 năm hoạt động âm nhạc của Rapper BigDaddy — được Đình Collective tiếp cận dưới góc nhìn đời sống và tinh thần đường phố theo một cách rất “Hà Nội”.

Từ cách sử dụng chữ có chủ ý “lộn xộn”, cho tới các chi tiết lấy cảm hứng từ phù điêu trên những toà nhà Pháp cổ, điêu khắc trên bàn ghế và nội thất Việt Nam; cùng bảng màu được trích xuất từ những chất liệu rất trà đá vỉa hè — như xanh cửa chớp, đỏ Sting dâu hay màu tường nhà Pháp. Typography được lấy cảm hứng từ văn hoá hip hop / trượt ván (logo Thrasher), kết hợp cùng font R***e — kiểu chữ quen thuộc trong hệ biển bảng Hà Nội, tạo nên ngôn ngữ chữ vừa g*i góc vừa gần gũi.

Toàn bộ hình ảnh trong bài thuộc concept thiết kế do Đình Collective và các cộng sự thực hiện, không phải phiên bản phát hành chính thức. Việc sử dụng hình ảnh đã được sự cho phép cho mục đích trưng bày và chia sẻ.

Vậy là sau gần 3 năm đi vào hoạt động thì chúng tôi đã hoàn thiện showcase đầu tiên là bộ chứng nhận học viên của trung tâm đào tạo thiết kế đa ngành DAS - Design Anthropology School

Cảm ơn CEO Huy Tạ đã tin tưởng và tạo cơ hội để một design studio non trẻ như chúng tôi được thể nghiệm những kỹ năng & kinh nghiệm của mình.
