Mechanical Design Engineer
Responsibilities
⢠Use specialized CAD software to create models and drawings of products
⢠Research new product ideas, materials and methods of development
⢠Organize and maintain existing engineering records
⢠Construct prototypes and confirm designs with design/purchasing team
⢠Perform physical testing on engineering prototypes
⢠Ensure components and assemblies adhere to applicable industry and business standards
⢠Prepare bills of materials, expense schedules and manufacturing process cost reviews with a goal of reducing expenses while maintaining product reliability
⢠Find creative design solution to problems
⢠Write detailed reports
Requirements
⢠Previous experience as a Design Engineer or a similar role
⢠In-depth knowledge of 3D CAD softwareâs (e.g., Solidworks, Fusion 360, Inventor)
⢠Extensive knowledge of metal fabrication processes
⢠Understanding of current cutting tool technology
⢠Impeccable attention to detail
⢠Ability to plan, schedule, coordinate and problem solve effectively
Electronics Engineer
Responsibilities
⢠Use software to Perform printed circuit board (PCB) layout, run simulations, create schematic drawings and produce wiring diagrams
⢠Prepare bills of materials, expense schedules and manufacturing process cost reviews with a goal of reducing expenses while maintaining product reliability
⢠Recommend modifications to existing designs and prototypes based on performance in quality tests and customer feedback
⢠Design electronic hardware and ensure it complies with specifications.
⢠Ensure all work complies with the requirements of the quality system.
Requirements
⢠In-depth knowledge of circuit design such as modern electronic CAD PCB layout systems (e.g., Altium, EAGLE, Fusion 360)
⢠Ability to source components, PCBs and bespoke silicon devices
⢠Ability to build prototype electronic devices including soldering and wiring
⢠Knowledge of techniques for design for manufacture, assembly, test and maintenance
⢠Understanding of appropriate manufacturing processes
⢠Experience with embedded software and I/O
⢠Experience with designing and building drivers for precision motor control.
⢠Experience of interfacing to embedded controllers including Linux/Android based hardware
