You all thought I was crazy! Now look! fkn sheep!

If you’ve been following since the beginning then you know how much this page has evolved over time.

Well, we’re not slowing down anytime soon. We may have had a pause… but we’re still going.

I started creating content to express myself and I finally feel myself getting back to that.

For a moment I started posting for everyone else and tbh, it just felt off but I thought that’s how it goes. NOT EVEN! I’ve been right the whole time. I always find myself posting s**t long before it becomes a thing, the norm, a trend and then I’m like… you mf’s thought I was weird or crazy, now look! Fkn sheep! 💀😂

I’ve always loved social media because people’ing is hard. It’s hard because I have to do my best to not open my blunt mouth and say s**t for how they are with a tone that’ll cut right through a mf.

Not the same Atea, not the new Atea. Just Atea.

VOTE BABY VOTE!

If you have a bank account in NZ, ENROL AND VOTE
If you buy food and gas in NZ, ENROL AND VOTE
If you pay rent or rates in NZ, ENROL AND VOTE
If you work or own a business in NZ, ENROL AND VOTE
If you breathe in NZ, ENROL AND VOTE!!!

This includes those who don’t rely on “the system” or believe in “the system” or live off-grid or whatever your whakapono is in regard to “the system.” There are a lot of our whānau who do rely on the system and by you NOT enrolling and voting means they have a chance of not being properly supported.

Why is it YOUR problem? Because whether we like it or not, we’re a collective. Our actions and words have a ripple effects big and small. It still has impact.

I am very bias when I say this but it’s in your best interest to vote for anyone OTHER THAN those 3 headed taniwha! Wouldn’t even call them taniwha, that’d be an insult to taniwha. 3 headed pīhau is fitting. Sellouts. Kupapa!

I’m also not saying that Labour will be any better because they also don’t have Māori best interests at heart. They just do a better job at hiding their agendas.

Do your due diligence, rangahau (research) the candidates that represent your rohe. Ask questions. Be curious.

Rangatahi mā, ENROL AND VOTE!!

30 life lessons for 30yrs

1. A child’s perspective is different from an adults perspective. It’s the adults job to remember what it’s like to be a child. It is NEVER the child’s job to understand an adult, because they’ve never been one to begin with but we, the adult, have been a child before.

2. It’s important who we allow around our tamariki. What they see, hear and feel is how their Aotearoa will be shaped. It’s also equally as important who we surround ourselves with, as we become them.

3. For most of us, our gut instincts are always right. Even when the mind is telling you the opposite, hindsight’s a fc***ng biiiiiiitchand will always come back to bite you

4. Awareness is free. Get some. As soon as you can, you’re never too young nor too old. It’ll make being authentic, genuine and not popular.

5. The moment you stop giving your power to others, you’ve unlocked the secret to living a good fu***ng life. I didn’t say easy, cause nothings ever easy. But a good one, is worth all the bumps and bruises along the way.

6. The people who care the most about your flaws are the most insecure people in the world who need the most help. You’re not obliged to give that help if you don’t want to. But compassion is the deadliest weapon to use on your enemies. Trips the mathawhakas up every time.

7. The most important job on earth is being a parent and we don’t even get paid for it. I never knew the true meaning of life until I had my babies. To have 2 heartbeats walking this earth is like living life on the edge.

8. CALL 👏🏼 THEM 👏🏼 OUT 👏🏼 even if it means standing on your own. If you know in your puku, your manawa and wairua that what someone has done is wrong, call that s**t out! People will start to see for themselves, eventually.

9. We try so hard to not become like our parents that we end up subconsciously being like them. Thats why talking with our tamariki and intentionally disrupting those patterns as soon as we’re aware of them is pivotal.

10. Yeah, nah. I can’t be farrrrrrked writing anymore 😂 that’s enough lessons for one night kids. Happy learning mf’s 💅🏼💅🏼

Travelling broadens one’s perspective on the world, well you’d hope it does anyway. Travelling to Tahiti, then Italy via Shanghai in close proximity in terms of time has made me think seriously about living abroad. Somewhere like Tahiti to start off with. Felt like home, feels like home.

Man… you know coming back to NZ, I realise how lucky we are and how much we take for granted. I also never saw (but always felt) how big the judgement is here. What I loved about Italy (in hindsight lol) was that they judged you to your face. They told you to your face. Straight up. NZ is two-faced. Fake asf smiles and turn and have pitch forks ready to stab you in the back.

I’m not letting go of the person I was in Italy. Some of you mf’s need some “get farrrrrked” to your faces 🤣 and I’m here to serve, willingly and accordingly 💅🏼

reclaiming my korokoro, my whare tangata
I’m free. I’m liberated. I am HER.

It’s divine alignment that I’ve been in proximity of wāhine who are creators in their own right, recently. Deeply grateful for the mahi they facilitate and the opportunities they open in the spaces they create.
