I love getting to know people’s stories and bringing people together!

Twenty three years ago today, I was 23 years old and packed what I owned into this UHaul and drove from Flagstaff, Arizona to start a new chapter here in Colorado. My mom and dad (in this photo with me) were worried but excited. I picked my apartment over the internet, didn’t know anyone here and did not have a job lined up but I did have a college degree from Northern Arizona University. I volunteered my time as a graphic designer for a nonprofit until I found my job three months later and began working for a rental car company. I would continue working for them for 3 1/2 years, working my way up to managing my own branch in the Denver Tech Center. I was one of three female branch managers in the state until I resigned in 2002 to accept a position with an insurance company investigating accidents, evaluating injuries and resolving claims. You all know the rest of the story. Thanks for reading mine and having me be part of your story now!

This wonderful organization dates back to 1960 and extends Christian services to wounded children in an effort to meet their physical needs, heal their emotional hurts, challenge their minds, and teach them moral principles, in order to reach the goals of reuniting them with their families or preparing them for independence.
