This is officially a cry for help, but a fun one.

I’m hiring a Junior Social Media Manager, someone based in Canada with a genuine eye for design and a love of making content that doesn’t look like it was slapped together in Word (no offense to Word).

You’d start out supporting me directly on a couple of our current client accounts, learning how we work, with real room to grow from there as you show me what you’ve got.

Trends are fleeting, algorithms change.
Good brands don’t.

Not every business should run Meta Ads.
And here’s why...

Ads are like pouring fuel onto a fire. They aren’t the match.

So if a business has never sold their offer before, they have nowhere to send a customer (whether that’s a website, phone number, or storefront), or buying from them feels confusing or incredibly frustrating...

Ads will never work for you. They will burn through money and leave you saying “ads are the problem.”
But in reality, the offer clarity, business goal, audience, and systems weren’t ready in the first place.

I’m ok telling someone ads aren’t the right fit for their business. It doesn’t mean they will never be an option, it just means some structure and planning needs to be implemented first.

Great advertising doesn’t create a great business.
It helps more people discover one.

“Will Meta Ads work for my business?” I’m asked this question often. And the answer isn’t always yes.

Meta Ads works well for many local businesses, but they’re not a magic wand, and they’re not the right fit for every goal.

If your business relies on people in your local area discovering you, booking with you, or walking through your doors, they’re definitely worth considering.

I’ve been noticing a bunch of little things, which can be easy fixes, so wanted to share!

If you take nothing but one piece of advice from this - for organic videos (talking head and voiceover) or for videos for ads - let it be tip number one.

The doors to Local Ads Studio have opened for the first time in over a year! 🌿

For the past 12 months, I’ve been supporting a small group of people to confidently run their own Meta Ads. Now I’m opening the doors again.

Local Ads Studio is for businesses who rely on customers in their local area. Whether you’re a business owner, entrepreneur or marketing manager, this membership is designed to help you feel more confident running Meta Ads without having to figure everything out on your own.

This beta round is a little different. Alongside the live membership, I’m actively recording and releasing a step-by-step course. As a beta tester, you’ll receive complimentary access to the course while you’re a member, and in return I’m asking for your honest feedback before the full launch later this year.
