It’s official! Our Pain has gotten One More Gain!

Yes, we are an OFFICIAL SELECTION for THE FANTASIA INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL!!!

Rupert Bottenberg, one of the Programming Directors of Fantasia, has this to say about MPMG:

“A gymnasium becomes gym-nauseating when rivals Jati and Abe, all juiced up on Joni Krakatau’s protein shakes, strive for supremacy in the weight room, pushing their bodies to their limits—and beyond”

MORE PAIN, MORE GAIN will have its CANADIAN PREMIERE on Sunday, the 3rd of August 2025.

And what’s more, MORE PAIN, MORE GAIN will be screened together with the Quebec Premiere of the great Don Lee’s HOLY NIGHT: DEMON HUNTER.

Words would not be enough to express our gratitude towards the crew, the supporters, friends and family, for the incredible journey with this film.

But we will still try anyway.

Thank you so much for our HODs and our crew, in two days of shoot we made a beautiful mess that people across the world have enjoy.

Thank you for our incredible two leads that put up with whatever we thrown, or splash, at you. You guys are the champion!

Thank you for our mystical Joni Krakatau that went out of his way from Bali to support our little bloody film.

Thank you for our friends and family that have seen this movie at whatever phase it was in. Your support definitely keeps us going.

And thank you to every person who has watched this film, believe in it, and choose it to be a part of your festival to be shared to a bigger audience. That is incredible and we have been in awe in every step of the way in this film’s journey.

It starts out in a studio in West Jakarta with our HODs, and then we decided that we are gonna head to the gym to do some heavy lifting, and then what do you know, Stockholm, Valencia, Berlin, Mexico City, Porto Alegre, and finally North America, Canada, Montreal is calling.

Let’s hope Jati & Abe will finally have their homecoming and show off those blood and muscles for the Indonesian audience. *wink wink

Boots! Farms! Horses! We collaborated with Yoodeo to play around with the visuals and editing styles required to bring to life the soul of AP Boots. What we ended up with is a series of 6 videos exploring outlandish situations, with AP Ultraflex, designed to help make farmwork and fieldwork easer on the feet, being the first to land on your eyes. Look forward to more AP Boots content from us; this was definitely a fun project to develop and shoot.

In the third video we made for AP Boots last year, we follow the most 'professional' of all healthcare professionals as she swiftly navigates through the various hazards and obstacles that are ever-present in our neighborhood hospital without ever losing composure; from electric shock, slippery floor, contaminated chemicals, to hip pain. Look forward to more AP Boots content from us; this was definitely a fun project to develop and shoot.

Two years ago, we had a chance to work with Jakarta's biggest transportation company, Transjakarta. For this project, we created a statement video that shows Transjakarta's principal beliefs and ethics. The video also shows the different work roles that exist within the company, showing the complexities in running a transportation system in Jakarta. We had a blast making the video and photoshoot with the Transjakarta team, we collaborated in making the concept, script, logo and also the movements that our talents are showing in the video.
