Instants feels like Instagram before everybody started performing for the algorithm.

Before every Story needed a strategy.

Before people stopped posting just because something was funny.

Right now the Instants feed is literally:
Friends making ugly faces.
Blurry food pics.
Random hand signs.
Pets.
Car selfies.
Screenshots.
Oversharing.
And absolutely zero concern for aesthetics.

And honestly?
That’s exactly why people are interacting with it.

Every time Instagram releases something new, they push it hard. That’s nothing new. But this feature feels different because it taps into something people have been missing for years:

Less polished.
Less curated.

It’s giving old Instagram energy again, and brands that understand how to balance strategy with personality are going to win here.

Behind every “effortless” reel is a social media girlie singing the audio 20 times.

Could we have used another phone? Yes.
