Notting Hill. Pastel terraces, vintage bookshops, and the slow hum of Portobello Road on a Saturday morning – I think it’s one of London’s most cinematic neighbourhoods.
Once working-class and wonderfully scruffy (I identify) it has evolved into a polished cultural patchwork where Caribbean heritage, independent fashion, and café culture still intersect. Look beyond the Instagram façades and you’ll find its real heartbeat in the market traders, the record shops, and the lingering echoes of the Notting Hill Carnival.
It’s not just pretty. It’s layered.
