Our school P&C and the committee of Canapes by the Creek are all about supporting the fantastic programs run by our teachers & students at Kilkivan P-10 State School.

Our team will soon say goodbye to our 2025 Show Steers. They will be processed mid September at Nolan Meats and then forwarded to Trent and his team at Kilkivan Country Meats for break down.

๐จ๐ซ ๐๐๐ฅ๐ will be Quarters of Kilkivan School ๐๐๐๐. ๐๐ช๐ฌ๐ฑ ๐ ๐พ๐ช๐ป๐ฝ๐ฎ๐ป ๐๐ฒ๐ต๐ต ๐ซ๐ฎ ๐ช ๐ถ๐ฒ๐ ๐ธ๐ฏ ๐ฏ๐ธ๐ป๐ฎ & ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ท๐ญ ๐บ๐พ๐ช๐ป๐ฝ๐ฎ๐ป๐ผ.
๐ฅฉ The Weight of each quarter will be approximately 60kg, (carcass weight) the perfect size to fill a freezer & feed a family and cost $15 p/kg.
Retail meat yield is 60-65% of the carcass weight. For example, at a price of $15 p/kg, a 60kg quarter would cost $900 and with a 65% yield give approximately 39kg of meat in your freezer. Leading to a cost of $23p/kg for cut meat.
๐ฅฉ These Quarters will be of high eating quality and have good, even fat coverage.๐ Kilkivan Country Meats will have all the meat packaged, labelled and ready to pop straight into your freezers.
