I’m an independent social media manager working with a mix of brilliant B2C businesses — and from 1st July I’ll be opening up space for one new client in my portfolio ✨

Most of my work comes through word-of-mouth and recommendations, so this is actually the first time in 5 years I’ve openly shared availability like this 👀

🎨✨ IN OUR VIEW ✨🎨

One of the projects I’m most proud to be involved with this year is IN OUR VIEW — a parish council led series of events bringing together history, creativity and community across East Bergholt to celebrate 250 years since the birth of John Constable 🌿

I’ve been lucky enough to work on promoting events for East Bergholt Parish Council, St Mary’s Church, Constable Hall and many others, as well as supporting The East Bergholt Society — a real personal passion project of mine with 3 events over the last month. ❤️

I’ve also once again given my time to support the East Bergholt Summer Fair events committee which, honestly, is shaping up to be the biggest and best yet… and the perfect finale to Constable’s birthday week 🎪☀️

It’s been amazing seeing so many local organisations come together to celebrate our village, our history and our community spirit.

Really looking forward to the next East Bergholt Society talk at Constable Hall, a place and community I’m proud to be part of 💛 John Constable and our local history are a real passion of mine, and this year’s 250th anniversary celebrations make it even more special 🌿🎨

We’re welcoming Emma Roodhouse, Honorary President of the Society and leading curator at Christchurch Mansion, for a fascinating evening exploring her work behind the major Constable 250 celebrations — including bringing The Hay Wain back to Suffolk and curating key exhibitions on Constable’s life and legacy.

Community matters just as much as business to me — here’s a project close to my heart that I’m supporting through my work with 💚

🌳 CONSTABLE TREES EVENT 🌳

Tuesday 12th May 2026 | The Lambe School, East Bergholt

East Bergholt Society is inviting residents, local landowners, and garden enthusiasts to join us for a special event celebrating trees — inspired by John Constable’s favourite, the black poplar, as part of the Constable 250 | In Our View programme! 🌿✨

At the event, we’ll be talking about the importance of trees in our village, how to plant and care for them, and how to get involved in growing East Bergholt’s tree canopy. 🌳

Residents will have the opportunity to purchase a sapling for their own garden or sponsor a tree to be planted elsewhere in East Bergholt. Saplings will be ready for planting from November onwards.

Special guest:
• David Appleton – Black Poplar Project Lead, Suffolk Tree Warden Network 🌲
Other project collaborators:
• Steve Feeney – Chair, East Bergholt Horticultural Society
• John Lyall – Chair, East Bergholt Society

We’re not just focusing on black poplars — we’re also offering hazel, field maple, silver birch and a few other native trees suitable for gardens and larger open spaces 🌱. The aim is to kick-start more tree planting across the village, with residents and horticultural members as the catalysts.

Come along, learn, get inspired, and help East Bergholt grow a greener future! 🌳💚

ENTRY IS FREE, but a modest charge will be made for ordering tree saplings, proceeds which will go to The Suffolk Tree Warden Network.

These talks form part of In Our View, a Parish Council–coordinated programme bringing together village, community and partner-led events celebrating Constable 250. Running from Easter onwards, it highlights local history, creativity and nationally significant celebrations inspired by the landscape and spirit of John Constable and East Bergholt.

Spent the day with the HSD team at their Income Surgeries & Digital Skills meeting 💻🏠

What a day! Packed full of insights, learning, and, of course, lots of content to share in the coming weeks. It’s amazing to see the team in action and understand just how complex and challenging housing support can be.

After six months of working closely with SOLO, I’m constantly learning and gaining a deeper understanding of the sector, and it’s so rewarding to capture the great work they do every day. Truly makes me proud to be part of sharing their story!
