I have been thinking about giving blood for ages but never really got round to it until last week. I must say - I have been watching a lot of Grey's Anatomy lately and just felt obligated to finally go ahead with it! 😂 The only issue out of the whole experience was that apparently, I wasn't hydrated enough (even though I drank plenty of water) so they couldn't take a lot of blood and they sent me home 😌
I am going again tomorrow and this time I'm ready! Been drowning myself in water all week 😂😂😂 So fingers crossed, it is going to be my first time properly donating blood! 😎

If I have learned one thing in my life is that trying to please everyone will get you nowhere... I used to go out of my way to do things for people without even thinking about what it costs me until it finally hit me these same people were never there for me. Everything I have achieved, I have achieved by putting me and my needs first and you should do the same!
