Mr. Carr has worked for BET for 37 years and has been responsible for over $10 Billion in sales revenue! Not only is he a pioneer in the advertising space, Mr. Carr has focused his efforts on empowering the next generation of leaders.

Through his foundation, LCIF which focuses on diversity in corporate America he has provided over 270 PAID internships to youth, 62 of which have led to full-time positions in their respective industry. Mr. Carr also created WayMaker Mens’s Summit, which brings together high profile thought leaders to educate young Black men in the areas of Finance, Health, Careers, Relationships, and Entrepreneurship. ✨Entered into a joint venture with Hudson News and secured
exclusive rights to develop O’Hare Airport’s Food & Beverage
Terminal 5 concessions with over 7 current restaurants
including Frontera Grill, Tocco Italiano, Big Bowl and Hub 51.

✨She acquired the first Pinkberry restaurant franchise and won
the bid to operate Garrett’s Popcorn Shop at Midway Airport!

✨She also recently launched her own award-winning bourbon,
Good Trouble.

Excited to announce our first official golf outing on August 25th! Ida Ella Maya brought this idea to me Years ago to collaborate and host an event for entrepreneurs to teach the art of golfing but also discuss how to make deals on the golf course! We will have speakers throughout the day discussing how they brokered some of their biggest deals. If you don’t know how to golf this is your intro, we will have lessons, golf instructors etc and if you are a seasoned golfer then just go hit the green and come back and network!
