THE SOMEWHERE SERIES // Let’s walk in the woods!

The best part about living in the Colorado foothills at 8,300 feet is the wildlife! This summer overflowed with sightings. Most nights our resident owl calls from its tree, most days we have a pair of giant wild turkeys out front. There was one point I said I can’t wait to see a bear or moose, and now (if you watch my stories), we’ve had so many run-ins I can’t even count. Each one is exhilarating, and sometimes terrifying. If I’m honest, I’ve walked LESS in the woods this year because I’m on high alert with how much activity there has been! I know it’s their home first, and still find all the magic in their stories found between the trees.

With that in mind, the shop is full of so many forest-y flora and fauna bits to fill a woodland gallery wall or shelf. Link in bio.
