Honesty hour with Tower never felt more apt!

Social Media is often made too complicated by too much noise about algorithms, trends, timing - all doing too much!

If you’re reading this, you’re probably a small to medium sized business who is targeting mostly local clients with possible ambitions to scale up!

If you are - you don’t need to be doing half the complex stuff on social media that others will make you believe!

Because whilst you’re busy trying to figure out the perfect time to post, or shoehorning yourself into a trend - you’re neglecting the basics

And without the basic fundamentals of consistent and clear marketing with purpose - you’ll struggle to get off the ground (and make yourself tired and frustrated in the process)

We make it simple. We cut out the jargon. We’re always honest. We work hard. We go above & beyond where possible!

😂 But even we have our limits 😂

Running our own business, in the early days, it felt impossible to say no & build boundaries because we were so nervous about getting every client who enquired - and keeping them, no matter what it cost us!

Now we’re in the position where we don’t have to say yes to every client - and red flags get taken seriously! The clients we have respect us as human beings - and we take their business needs seriously!

We don’t ask the Earth! We’re an honest, family run business & a bit of kindness and courtesy goes a long, long way! 🧡✨

A lot of business owners are put off by the idea of having a social media manager because they don’t want to add ✨babysitting✨ to their list of jobs!

And you know what? We get it! We’ve had so many clients & discovery calls where we’ve heard first hand about bad experiences with social media management

❌ Having to spoon feed content briefs
❌ Having to chase them for responses
❌ The SMM not understanding their business and making no effort to do so either

And it baffles us. Because we have never thought that our approach to social media management is radical.

✅ We just do things properly, efficiently & effectively - with as much or as little collaboration as your energy allows for!

Because ultimately, you’re paying us to manage things. If we’re constantly in your inbox asking questions - you may as well do it yourself!

Honestly? If all you’re looking for is to go viral then we may not be the social media team for you!

Because vitality alone isn’t going to make you a success and - for a lot of small or localised businesses - viral content is only going to boost your ego & not your bank balance!

Of course, a post that does huge numbers feels nice! But with big numbers also comes potential backlash, scrutiny etc - it’s genuinely not all it’s cracked up to be

And is all that worth it just for a post that looks great on metrics but doesn’t improve your bank balance? 🤔

This theory changes if you’re a business looking to scale up nationwide. But if you’re a small or local business that just needs the attention of your local market (and a bit further afield maybe) then your content doing smaller numbers really isn’t a bad thing!

Consistent content that targets EXACTLY the type of people you want is what we specialise in! No big promises, just honest & well-thought-out marketing!
