I recently spent 3 days at 's retreat for The Connect, her coaching community I've been part of since December.

Walking in, I'll be honest; I felt like I didn't belong. I'm the youngest person in the room. The least experienced. It would've been easy to make myself small.

But I was reminded of something: I wasn't offered this seat by accident. If I'm here, it's because I have something to give too.

Day one alone had one-on-one breakouts, group spotlights, tears, and a helicopter ride over the Hudson Valley (yes, really). A full day of going deeper β€” not just with the group, but with myself.

Day two, Lori brought in to talk about anthropology and curiosity. In the middle of my own grief journey, it landed exactly when I needed it. Got my wheels turning about what I'm actually curious about right now; in my life, not just my business.

I walked in unsure if I belonged. I walked out feeling loved, seen, and held.

Grateful doesn't even cover it. 🀍

We're officially in the back half of 2026 and I refuse to let anyone get blindsided by Thanksgiving week again.
So here's every date left in the year that's actually worth planning around (not the fake "holidays" that exist just to sell you a graphic template):
πŸ‚ Sept 7 β€” Labor Day
πŸ‚ Sept 22 β€” Fall Equinox + Spooky season
πŸŽƒ Oct 31 β€” Halloween
πŸ•°οΈ Nov 1 β€” Daylight Saving ends + holiday season kickoff
πŸ¦… Nov 11 β€” Veterans Day
πŸ¦ƒ Nov 26 β€” Thanksgiving
πŸ›οΈ Nov 27–30 β€” Black Friday β†’ Cyber Monday
πŸ’› Dec 1 β€” Giving Tuesday
✨ Dec 21 β€” Winter Solstice
πŸŽ„ Dec 25 β€” Christmas
πŸ₯‚ Dec 31 β€” New Year's Eve

You do not need content for every one of these. Pick the ones that actually fit your brand and your capacity β€” that's it, that's the strategy.

Save this so you're not googling "when is Cyber Monday" in a panic come November. πŸ˜…

Unpopular opinion: I don't want your content to go viral.

I mean, sure; if it happens, great. Ride the wave, take the win, screenshot the analytics. But that's not what I'm building for you, and it's not what I'd build for myself either.

Here's the thing about not-trying-to-go-viral: it doesn't mean anti-viral. It means I'm not going to build your entire strategy around chasing something you can't control, can't repeat, and can't count on to pay the bills next month.

What I actually help people build instead:
β€’ content that sounds like them, not a trend
β€’ a plan they can repeat without burning out reinventing it every week
β€’ visibility that holds up even on the weeks life gets loud
β€’ content solid enough that IF it goes viral, it actually converts, instead of just racking up likes from strangers who forget you by Tuesday

Not anti-viral. Just not viral-dependent. Slower, yes. But it's the version still standing in three years; viral moment or not.

P.S. if you've been stuck chasing the algorithm instead of building something repeatable, that's a conversation worth having. reply and tell me what's not sticking 🩷

You don’t need to be β€œmore consistent.”
You need a clearer reason why you’re posting in the first place.

Content should move the needleβ€”not just fill the feed.

If you’ve ever felt like your content is getting you nowhere, it’s not because you’re not doing enough. It’s because no one ever taught you how to connect the dots between your business goals and what you share online.

This carousel is your permission slip to stop forcing it and start being intentional.

✨ You deserve a content plan that respects your time, energy, and capacity.

Did I sob while making this? Absolutely. Why?

Because here I am, so sad, anxious and depressed some days I could barely function β€” and that little girl who had no idea what she'd be or do is MIND BLOWN. At what I've built, how we live, who we are.

If I'm being honest, this has been one of the hardest years of my life.

It started with my mental health in the toilet after weaning off my meds last year. 10/10 do not recommend. I questioned every detail of my life. Pushed people away. Stopped running. Stopped documenting the wins. Lost my grandfather β€” who was basically a parent to me β€” and tried to revive him myself. Went quiet with my husband. Felt boring, lonely, disconnected from myself.

And I did that. Trying to protect myself, I built a wall that made everything worse.

But here's what I didn't expect: even in the middle of all that, I kept showing up.

I ran a half marathon. Got back on my meds and started 3 therapy sessions a month like clockwork. Supported my Gram through the hardest week of her life without my business missing a beat. Signed new clients. Hired help. Watched my kids have the best birthdays of their lives. Went to couples therapy instead of staying quiet. Started putting my phone down.

None of that erases the hard parts. It just proves the hard parts didn't get the final word.

So here I am, being honest, in hopes that one person reading this feels a little less behind; or a little more human. We're all fighting something. Honoring the whole journey, good and bad, is the hardest but most important part.

Here's to more connection, and more good, on the horizon. 🀍

And I say that as someone who has consumed; and honestly, repeated; a lot of it.

Post more. Show up consistently. Stay visible. Batch your content. Be everywhere.

None of it is technically wrong. But it's missing something critical: context.

It doesn't ask what season you're in. It doesn't account for the fact that you're the strategist, the scheduler, the client deliverer, and the CEO β€” often all in the same afternoon. It was built for someone with a team behind them, and handed to someone doing it alone.

Here's what capacity-conscious marketing actually looks like:
β†’ A posting rhythm built around your slowest week, not your best one
β†’ Pillars that do the thinking for you when you're running on empty
β†’ A repurposing layer so the content you've already created keeps working long after you hit publish
β†’ Permission to show up in a way that's sustainable β€” not just impressive

You don't need more advice. You need a strategy that was actually built around your real life.

If that's the kind of strategy you actually want? Eviee's got you. She's free and she's linked below!

Hot coffee. Hotter take. β˜•

If your content strategy falls apart the second life shows up, here's what's actually missing:
β†’ Pillars that give you a direction even on your lowest-energy days
β†’ A repurposing layer so nothing you create lives and dies in one post
β†’ A realistic rhythm β€” not someone else's "post daily" standard

The goal was never to be a content machine. It was to build a business. Your strategy should reflect that.

That's exactly what Eviee helps you build β€” a 30-day content plan mapped around your actual capacity. Link below to try her free.

Every business owner has "the four" aka the tools they couldn't function without

Mine are the first things I open in the morning and the last things I close before I log off. Here's the breakdown:

πŸ“Œ Notion: the brain of TCG. Every piece of content gets ideated, planned, and created here. It's the reason repurposing isn't a guessing game β€” I can search past content by keyword, type, or topic instead of digging through old files.

πŸ“Œ Later: been with them since 2017. Tried the alternatives (including Meta Business Suite), nothing compares. Every piece of social content flows through here to get scheduled.

πŸ“Œ Flodesk: my email marketing home. Beautiful, customizable layouts that don't make me want to throw my laptop.

πŸ“Œ Google Calendar: the holy grail. If it's not on my calendar, I'm probably not doing it. Pro tip: make sure your call scheduler is actually reading your calendar so you don't end up double-booked.

Your tech stack is personal; what works for me might feel like clutter to you. But if you're starting from scratch, these four are a solid place to begin.

"Be consistent" β€” okay, but which kind?

There are actually three types of consistency in your content, and only one of them is at risk when you slow down.

(Hint: it's also the most forgivable one.)
