If you’re new here, hi. l’m nat and I spent a decade building up other people’s businesses to their first 6-8 figures before I finally felt the nudge almost 5 years ago, to launch my own The #1 Network for Woman of God.

At the peak of my business, I had my 3rd baby, laid down the program that was bringing in my main source of income and dedicated myself to my family, homeschooling my kids and just carrying and honoring the mantle of motherhood, the best I could.

When I felt in my spirit to prepare for another shift, my husband would lose His job. Taking us from the only income we had left… to none at all.

Im deciding to bring all the walls down, not just on “how” I’m rebuilding but all the thoughts, moments and divine disruptions that took place that leads me along the way.

When people ask me “HOW Natalie?”

most of the time what they expect to hear about is the rigid, super complex or elaborate systems I have in place to keep everything in order and under control.

Here’s the thing, I have spent my entire adulthood studying and developing systems.

What motherhood taught me is that a system is only as good as it’s flexibility to evolve under ever changing circumstances.

And more importantly, MY flexibility to pivot in real time when things don’t go according to plan.

And building a business and stewarding a home, a marriage, and the demands of motherhood,

the piece that was actually out of order in my life wasn’t the systems.

I had those.

It was the way I was showing up in them.

It was the way I would spiral in frustration every time someone showed up late or the kids would not so easily cooperate with our designated nap times.

It’s the way I would struggle being fully present with my kids or during a spontaneous phone call with a friend because no matter how much i planned, prepared and organized, one thing out of place in my system would send me spiraling into chronic overwhelm

The BIGGEST shift in creating a more pleasant and productive life forced me to acknowledge that hyper productivity is not the purpose of systems in my life.

Peace is.
Joy is.
Order is.
Creativity is.
Fruitfulness is.

And while optimizing my time is all fun and games, it was costing me the intimacy, the freedom, & the connection that requires the kind of spaciousness in your day that allows for spontaneity.

My systems were broken not because they couldn’t work, but because they were solving for the wrong problem.

You’ve been told that storytelling is powerful.

95% of your life is on autopilot.

95% of the decisions you are making every single day, you don’t even know you’re making them, let alone WHY you’re making them.

We’ve been fed the illusion that if we just simply work harder, and do better that maybe we can somehow optimize our way into a new life.

But what if better habits weren’t the cause of a change life, but rather the direct result of it?

Neuroscience confirms what scripture has always instructed.

And the “renewal of the mind” that we are commanded in Romans 12:2 is not what meets the eye…

If we desire to “be transformed”, we can work hard at “better” every day and still wonder why the needle feels it’s barely moved.

But what transformation really needs to take its course in our life is not better, it’s new.

Our brain is not wired to seek truth, it’s wired to look for evidence to confirm what it already believes, even if that belief is rooted in a lie.

And the concern I have for young believers who have been trained to seek emotionally charged experiences, rather than truth, is that signs and wonders will become a poor foundation that has the potential to leave many listeners disgruntled and deceived.

Truth. That is what sets us free. That is where we find our firm foundation.

Yet there is an entire movement of people who are building platforms that stand on the sand of biblical illiteracy.

If we stand any chance to be a guiding light of truth in a world that has begun to embrace darkness, we must be vigilant, we must be equipped, we must be undaunted in our pursuit of truth knowing that we too, are susceptible to deception.

In other words…

Read your word.
Seek wise counsel.
Guard your heart with all vigilance.
Get planted into a church.
And ask more questions than you are tempted to have an answer to.
