If you’re in Bangkok October 4–7, keep the rain in mind when planning your day. ☔️

But rainy weather doesn’t mean you have to stop exploring.

Here’s a vibrant, easy Phrom Phong rainy-day itinerary using the covered walk through Bangkok’s EM District:

M Quartier → Emporium → EmSphere

And EmSphere is my favorite stop — trending eats, an interesting food court, Instagrammable interiors and even arcades.

You get to keep walking, eating and experiencing Bangkok… while staying mostly out of the rain. 🇹🇭

That’s the kind of travel I love: flexible, experiential and still fun.

Bangkok travelers, don’t let another round of rain catch you unprepared. ☔️

The latest forecast calls for more thunderstorms and heavy rain, particularly around October 5–6. (TMD)

If you’re exploring Bangkok, know where the covered walks and elevated pedestrian routes are—and ideally, how they connect to your hotel.

You can still explore. Just plan your route around the rain. 🇹🇭

A very good problem to have in Bangkok: craving Thai food but wanting a coffee-shop vibe. 😂☕️🌶️

Problem solved.

Som tam cravings: satisfied.
Coffee-shop vibe: achieved.
And those flavors? 🤯

Sometimes the best travel finds are the places that give you exactly what you didn’t know you were looking for. 🇹🇭

Sometimes you don’t need a big itinerary to feel Thailand.

You just need good food, a traditional recipe, someone kind enough to help you order, and the willingness to try something VERY spicy. 😂🌶️

Madam Somtum gave me all of that. The owner was so accommodating, it genuinely felt like home.

I went around 3 PM. Lunch and dinner can get busy, so go earlier or after peak hours if you want to avoid the queue.

Bangkok travelers, this luggage situation may NOT be over. ✈️

Several travelers who arrived Sept. 26, 27, and 28 have messaged me saying they are still waiting for their checked luggage.

My advice: communicate with your airline repeatedly through email and calls, even when you don’t get an immediate response. If you have the time and energy, going to the airport in person may also help you get clearer information.

I hope everyone gets their bags back soon. 🤍🇹🇭

The sky is THAT clear in Bangkok—we can see the moon! 🌙☀️

Bangkok just keeps surprising 🎉

Good news! Travelers are reporting smoother LUGGAGE flows at Bangkok airports. 🙌🇹🇭

A little patience for Bangkok right now. 🤍

I know delayed luggage can be incredibly frustrating, especially when you’re traveling on a tight schedule.

But there are fewer people able to report to work because of the flooding — some are home recovering, securing their families, and dealing with the situation themselves.

So, fellow travelers, let’s extend a little extra patience and understanding while the Bangkok airports work through this.

I hope things get easier for everyone soon. 🇹🇭

Don't let the Bangkok clouds keep you inside! ☁️

Next time the weather looks unpredictable, head straight here.If you loved my last covered-walkway guide, you need to save this one for a completely different neighborhood: The EM District in Phrom Phong. 🚂✨

You can walk between Emporium, EmQuartier, and EmSphere completely sheltered from the elements while experiencing high-end Thai design, legendary local street food stalls, and immersive entertainment.

Make sure to watch until the very end of the clip to see the last location—it’s hands-down my favorite spot in the entire district for a viral Thai pop-culture experience! 🐻💥
