Every year when my roses start to bloom after I've pruned them to little sticks during winter I am in awe of Nature and Life.
That's true for us as well ~ sometimes we've been pruned and our parts feel exposed and raw, yet at some point life starts to move beneath the surface of our being and we start to show signs of new growth.
And before long, buds and blooms and fruits are growing again.
These photos are freelensed photos I took of one of my roses early one morning. Freelensing is when you take the lens off the camera and hold it free just in front of the camera and then you can take macro (very close up) photos (without a macro lens) and get these beautiful dreamy effects.
