I wanted to share what I learned making this fan Attack on Titan film. One BIG lesson here is that I will never make something I THINK people will like. I thought people would like this, and honestly that was my main motivation in making it. But now, I've been freed of that, making things I THINK people will like. Instead, I want to focus on what I KNOW I love. Whatever passion projects I make from here on out will only be because I want to make it, I believe in it, and I think it is worth saying.

Along with Passage (please follow us at ) I did a personal project called "The Note". It's a personal project based on a man I see when I go for run. I don't know if he's homeless or just likes being outside, but every time I run around the lagoon, he's always sitting on a bench alone. I thought, what if I went and talked with him, made him feel like he was seen? But I never do it. So I started writing him a letter instead. Then I thought - what if we made a small film about this?
