Nobody talks about the real difference between running and cycling.

Running: put on shoes. Leave.

Cycling: two hour pre-ride ritual involving carb loading, two separate lights, precise tire pressure, chain maintenance, chamois cream, and a brief negotiation with traffic on the way out.

Worth it once you're moving. Genuinely more enjoyable than running.

But the barrier to entry is a whole thing.

The sport you'll actually do consistently is the one that lets you start in three minutes.

Some things work whether you believe in them or not.

You think of someone and they call. You wonder about an old friend and run into them the next day.

Bumped into a buddy in Miami yesterday. Before I could say hi he goes: I was just about to text you.

I'm not here to explain the mechanism. I don't have one.

But I've watched enough people win in ways that defy the spreadsheet to know that something is happening in the space between intention and outcome.

Stop dismissing it. Start paying attention to it.

LinkedIn video is getting crushed by LinkedIn images right now.

Same post. Same copy. Video vs image.

Image won by 5x.

The algorithm is either not pushing video or users just aren't watching it. The outcome is the same either way.

What works on LinkedIn in 2026: sharp writing and a strong image. Not Reels. Not talking head clips.

Uncomfortable finding for a video agency. But the data is the data.

We're building something new around this. More soon.

The hate comments are not the problem.

Not being able to handle them is.

If you showed up honestly, spoke from real experience, didn't mislead anyone, and didn't throw anyone under the bus, you have nothing to run from.

The internet will always have people who disagree. That's not a reason to delete. That's just the cost of having a voice.

Stand behind your word or stop putting it out there.

The chief AI implementation officer at your company has to be you.

Not a new hire. Not a consultant. You.

If the person at the top is not driving adoption the org never fully commits. It becomes a side project instead of a core belief.

I run weekly AI sessions with my entire team. When a Claude update drops that changes how we work nobody finds out on their own. We learn it together and implement it immediately.

The competitor doing that while you delegate it is not just keeping up.

They are pulling away every single week.

Best hidden mic under $100.

The SmallRig lav tucks completely inside your clothes. Invisible on camera. Sounds better than mics that cost three times as much.

No internal recording but as a backup mic on a real shoot it's hard to beat.

We use it on basically every production.

Check it out on Amazon. Link in bio.

My video had a thousand views and someone called me a fraud for it.

Those thousand views sent ten people to my inbox ready to talk business.

That's the metric nobody talks about. Not the view count. The room quality.

You would do anything to pitch a hundred perfectly qualified prospects. Your content just did that quietly and you're embarrassed by the number.

A million unqualified views or a thousand that convert.

One of those builds a business. Stop posting for the algorithm and start posting for the right people.

The platforms will never filter out AI content.

Not if it performs better. And it will.

What kids are watching right now is fully AI generated nonsense optimized for maximum attention. No story. No soul. Just dopamine on a loop.

That's version one.

Version two tailors every frame, every beat, every arc to each individual viewer in real time. Personalized at a level no human creator can match.

Human content isn't going away. Vinyl records didn't disappear either.

But the idea that human made content stays the default?

That window is closing faster than most people want to admit.

Three years. 500 videos a month. Every AI tool on the market.

Here is what I know. AI cannot write a viral hook. Not really.

It can approximate one. It can produce something that looks correct. But it always misses the thing that makes content actually work.

Cultural nuance. The subtle gap between a setup and a punchline where the audience's brain makes the connection and feels smart for getting there.

AI is too obvious. Every time. The joke lands but does not hit. The hook reads right but does not stop the scroll.

Use AI to move faster. Do not use it to replace the instinct that took years to build.

Putting someone on your podcast is an investment.

Time. Money. Editing. Promotion. All of it.

I have had guests pull their episodes after all of that because they did not like their hair or got scared of a few negative comments.

So now there is a contract. And one clause in particular I never thought I would need.

By appearing on this podcast you acknowledge you will receive hate comments and not everyone will like you.

That is what it has come to.

If you cannot handle criticism from strangers on the internet, podcasting is not for you.
